You are probably fine. As long as its not as bright as one lumen from 1 foot away from your plant you should be ok. Light dissapates so quickly that even a little pin hole of light would not affect anything.

Without more info about your set up its hard to tell. Your light can be to far away, the type of light perhaps...so many variables.

No, crystals stay right where they are. But some people believe if you give them 24-48 hours of darkness before you cut the plant that it gets a little more trichs.

Yes. If you clone from a clone that is a month old it is ok if your plant is good and healthy. Just remember your clones will only be as good as the mother/plant you take them from.

I was actually saying put water jugs in when your plants are in place. So not only does your plants take up volume, so does the jugs. It works great, and you can away with 14 gallons max.

If you are using a 3x3 there is no reason you would need bigger than a 30 gallon res. You can get away with 22 easy, but if you think outside of the box you can get it done with using 14 gallons max. And that is with more than enough run off. I would recommend either saving or buying(40cent)...
