Yes...lol.....that's what PH up is for...... However, I have heard from numerous sources that too much PH up or down can/will make your nutrient solution toxic:shock: I can just add PH up or down as I please? With no consequences whatsoever? I find this hard to believe... Mejuana: I mix the...

    PH Up/Down Toxicity Issues

I recently purchased a R/O unit. I get 7.0 ph water now. After mixing nutes (fox farm and cal-mag) I have a PH of roughly 4.0 Question: Is it safe to bring the PH up to 6.5 using ph up? Or is that too much? * I do not want to add hard water to raise PH * Adding the r/o water after nutes have...

Currently using ff big bloom and tiger bloom... NEED HELP~

^ agree 100% The best way to learn to grow is to change your nutes/ppm's/watering-feeding schedule ACCORDINGLY. This really isn't stressed enough, you should feed your plants what THEY TELL YOU to feed them. If you have lush growth, green leaves, and a healthy plant, DO NOT go throwing in...

    Cal-Mag Usage

thanks researchkitty!!! yeah, I think im just gonna add cal-mag to my R/O water until ppm hits 150. Then ill add my nutes and work from there...hopefully that is an ideal range of calcium and magnesium for optimal growth...oh well, time will tell and corrections will be made. Ill update the...

    Cal-Mag Usage

Thanks for the reply woodsmaneh! After some research, R/O water is generally brought up to about 125-200 ppm with Calmag. 125-200ppm is supposed to be a good base range before adding nutes. Can anyone confirm this? Or do people just steal pictures and lie about knowing things lol.

    Cal-Mag Usage

Thanks for the reply! Thats pretty much how i've been going about it. I happened to find some rusty looking veins on some of my lower leaves, and it looks like it may be a magnesium deficiency, although its probably not a magnesium deficiency, I figured it would be useful to know how much the...

    Cal-Mag Usage

    1) When using R/O Water, how many ppms of cal-mag is proper for a flowering/5 gallon plant? I add the cal-mag first, before nutes, and the R/O water starts at almost 0. Is 250ppm of cal-mag too much, too little, or just right??? 2) When using the feed/water/feed/water regimen, how many ppms of...

    Whats damaging my leafs?

Looks like a certain type of caterpillar that is eating your plant. Very small, nocturnal creatures that are hard to catch, when you try to grab them they run into the buds! Safer caterpillar killer worked well for me. Are they indoor or outdoor?

I got some Grow Big,Tiger and Big Bloom for my auto's need help with feeding please

Feed every other watering. Never feed with every watering as fruityroll says. Let the plants dry out before you water (not wilting but dry soil). If you plan on continuing to grow, I suggest investing in a tri-meter. Around 200$ for a solid unit that accurately displays ph/ppm/temperature. Mine...
