Sour Diesel nute requirements???

Hi, all...
I posted this here as I figure there HAS to be someone in this forum that knows the answer to this question...

I am growing 8 of the clone-only original Sour Diesel strain...(90% Sativa, 10% Indica).

I have heard on the net from various sources the nute requirements of Sour diesel and I have basically gotten two different diametrically opposed versions of it's nute requirements...The first version goes something like this: Sour Diesel is of the Chem Dog family and you need to feed it like crazy as it has very high (like most Chem Dog line plants) nutrient requirements....

The other version I have heard is that Sour Diesel is very picky about it's nutes and very nute sensitive; as although it is a Chem Dog Hybrid; it was hybridized w/ a high altitude Mexican Sativa that has pretty low nute requirements due to it's condition of the native soil where it is from and that you have to be careful as it is easy to over fertilize...

Which is it??? Anybody know???

I am asking as I am about a month into flowering. About the second to third week into flowering started having some issues w/ leaves yellowing & turning crispy brown & just fucking hanging there dead, Sours were also looking kinda wilty.

At first I thought it was Verticillum wilt or fusarium; but none of my other strains were affected that share the same growroom and are all fine. Only the Sours are fucked up. I'm not sure if it's too much nutes or too little...It started pretty rapidly, so I am thinking too much nutes for this strain?...Growth has pretty much come to a standstill. Did a flush w/ clearex and gave em some cal-mag and waiting to see what happens...Also, they are growing along w/ a bunch of NYC Diesels and Grape Widows. They were all on the same nute program; the NYC's and Grapes are just going bonzo w/ nice good sized stinky buds- but the Sour D's are looking a bit fucked up (due to losing so many fan leaves) and their growth, like I said, has come to a halt. I'm pretty bummed as ya'all can imagine and seriously considering not ever bothering w/ Sour D again if these girls don't pull through...:o

Any help as to what Sour D's like would be greatly appreciated.

ive never heard anything about separate strains needing different nutrient levels I always just go by rule of thumb, use half of what your nutrients instructions tell you to use

what you described sounds like an over-fert problem. try flushing and giving it a lighter feed next time around. good luck.

What ever happened to the SD's? Ive got some going and am about to start feeding next week. 3 year old thread but figured Id give it a shot

I myself have been searching but am starting a SD auto flower. What I've learned from lots of sources is to use 1/4 of recommended dosage. As the plant gets into veg you can raise it half of recommendation. If it has issues? You'll have to lower it but not back to a 1/4. You would want to try to aim around for 1/4 + an 1/8 nute solution.

Rule of thumb start low.

This is for someone searching just like I was when I found this post. Now how about this, go mind your business. You seem childish trying to tell someone what to do. Didn't your mommy tell you worry about yourself and not what others are doing?

I mean it's common forum etiquette.

Sorry to hear that you had to do a search on how to feed a Sour Diesel strain thinking it was somehow special.

I’m just going to go ahead and assume your sourness is just related to not being welcomed to the community yet
