I agree with harley, you are way overthinking things for your first grow. Start simple and go get a couple 100w cfls and a small fan. Weed can be a fickle plant, but most errors caused by new growers is messin with it to much and pretty much any lightly nuted potting mix for veggies or flowers...

Size of the seed really does not matter. The tried true method I use is ill take the seeds 1 at a time and roll them across a hard surface with my thumb. As you roll them apply a decent amount of pressure; a good seed will not break very easy.

I would flush them with plain tap, gravity bounce out the excess and stop using nutes all together till you transplant them out of the solos.

If the soil is holding to much water try to bounce some out. Pick up the pot and kinda let it fall with gravity then give it a good stop. 1.5 liters of water in a 2 gal pot should have drainage.

would depend on alot of things lights, nutes, temps, style of grown. I have seen people get a ounce with a 150 cfl and I have seen people get almost 4 ounces per plant with a 400w hps. Do you have plans on how your gonna grow?

your gonna need a fan or pretty good intake/exhaust I did a closet grow with a 150w hps and temps would spike almost to 110 degrees till I added fans. hps bulbs pump a ton of heat.

I am sorry I confused what you said for a halogen, is it just happening with that one plant and does it have the same feeding etc as the others?
