    Calling All Noob Growers

Have you checked your pH lately? Your leaves seem to have classic pH spotting. More than likely your pH is too high. Happy Growing!

    Florida Growers Thread

Jack's Classic is what you need. It's a well balanced 20-20-20 that most garden shops carry. Don't try Lowe's or Home Depot, they don't carry it, try the local little guy.

Two Week old seedlings going yellow at base of leaves

I apologize for the mistake; had my mind on soil. I did give you some mis-information. For coco coir your pH should be between 5.8 to 6.0. Below is a link you may find interesting. https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/48979-idiots-guide-coco-coir.html

Two Week old seedlings going yellow at base of leaves

Have you checked the pH of your soil run off? This is the pH that matters and it should be around 6.5-6.8. Growing in containers or hydro with hard water can be difficult because the water is high with certain minerals (varies from area to area) that can react with the nutrients you are adding...

Forgot to water my plants, Wilted, help?

Add another dark hour to your schedule, 11 light 13 dark. I have read that some strains need this extra darkness if they refuse to bloom on a 12/12 schedule.

Forgot to water my plants, Wilted, help?

As unreliable as they are, a moisture meter is much better than a finger in the top of the soil. The finger only tells you the condition of the first inch or so. With a moisture meter you can poke it in the soil 6". If the top of the pot is drying out too fast, use a spray bottle and moisten the...

Forgot to water my plants, Wilted, help?

I wonder if the people who use "texting" abbreviations know how to spell the word!

Forgot to water my plants, Wilted, help?

I know exactly where you are coming from Wolverine97! I get so tired trying to decipher some of the posts on this site I just skip over them. It makes me ask the question, "Just how does this person expect to make it in life if they cannot communicate through the written word?". By the way I...

    Leaf Problem!!

I see the cotyledon leaves have dried up and the 1st and 2nd sets of leaves are yellowing. Yep, it's time to start your nutrients at 1/4 strength. In soil, watch the cotyledon leaves. When they start to yellow it's time to start the nutrients. Good luck on your grow!

    Definitely nutrient burn!

    Leaf Problem!!

I'm sure you meant to say "tsp" (teaspoon). I have a bottle of FF Tiger Bloom sitting in front of me and the application schedule suggest 2-3 teaspoons/gallon every other watering. Nice looking plant!

Harvesting most of plant and then putting it back in flower room under 12/12

Yes your can! The top colas typically ripen first because they get more light. When they are ready, cut them off and leave the plant in your flower room; no problem! With the top of the plant removed more light will reach those lower branches and the energy that was going to the top is now...

Retarded seeds? Or lights too close?

It's heat stress; notice how the leaf edges are folding up as well as the leaf pointing up? This helps the leaf minimize its exposure to light and to help keep it from drying out. Your lights are too close. Good Luck!

    droopingg?

Without pictures it is hard to tell what your problem is but here is something to look for. If the leaves are drooping and look like an eagles claw; too much water. If the leaf and stem are drooping then it's under watering. Of course other things can cause droopy leaves. Good Luck!

will male pre flowers release pollen in veg?

It looks like you identified your own problem. Some plant pollens can be viable for hundreds of years if under ideal conditions. Before starting another grow, I would completely clean your grow area because pollen can rest anywhere and become air-born again at any time. Of course, one of your...

New Grow-(Free Seed From Attitude Called "Motivation!")

Your grow is looking good so far and the light upgrade is a good move. One suggestion at the moment; get rid of the mineral water and start using reverse osmosis water. You can get it at your local grocery store or Wal-mart in gallon jugs. I get mine at Wal-mart for 69 cents/gallon. Mineral...

    Please help

Follow Hemlocks advice on flushing and ferts but I would cut the guano down to 1/4. At this stage plants don't need as much nitrogen as in the vegetative stage but they do need some to keep the leaves green up until harvest. As for when to stop using nutrients, if you are not over fertilizing...
