Strawberry Cough, Shining Silver haze 400w Stealth Cabinet Scrog

Nice, sorry if this is stated somewhere, but have you grown in this cab before? If so did you ever have problems with humidity? In terms of being too high during late flowering?

Air cooling or Water Cooling for my light?

With a hood light this: http://www.growlightexpress.com/water-cooled-lights-8/fresca-sol-water-cooled-light-451.html All you do is attach hoses to each end, one as an intake and one as an output, get a decent sized rez depending on the wattage of your light, and connect a pump to the...

    First Grow - 3000w - Ebb & Gro - H&G - Sealed

Hey man nice grow you got going, just wanted to say one thing though that might help you out. When growing cannabis, the size of the pot will directly relate to how big the plant can get. The deeper the pot the taller your plants will be and the wider the pot is the wider your plants will...

    why do plants smell?

I agree with you weedsofdestiny. In terms of a broader reason why the plants smell or why anything smells for that matter (as well as why anything has taste) is because of bacteria. Yes we have smell receptors and taste buds but without bacteria interacting between the comounds being smelled...

"Turns out my landlord is not allowing this sort of thing to take place here, regardless of medical cards or not.... I am not going to argue with them over what is right or not because it just draws extra attention. Trying to figure out something with a friend but for now I am have to take...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

Hopefully these will turn around because I have slowed down the watering but I am not totally sure if they will. With the new clones I get I am definitely going to hold back on the watering and I don't think I will run into the same problems. Thanks for the input man, and btw your grow...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

So I waited two days before watering again and watered yesterday, and plan on waiting another two days before I water again (Tuesday). I definitely think waiting at least two days in between waterings is helping. I gave them 240ml each of water that had: 1ml per gal of Roots Excelurator, 2.5ml...

Yeah for sure I was at your place the other day taking pictures, lol....jk. I have seen your journal and setup though, its really nice, way nicer than mine, way bigger obviously too heh. You are right though, for the most part I am using the same stuff from before setup wise, just a...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

K well I may have some experience but I am still completely new to Coco Coir. I was told to treat it more like a hydro system than soil, watering once a day no matter what. I have found this to beincorrect until the plants are bigger. When you have seedlings or clones in 1 gallon pots just...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

So I started with nutrients today. I gave them 1ml per gal of the Coco A/B and then 1ml per gal of the roots excelurator. They look like they need it, I will probably up it to 2ml per gal the next time I water or the time after that. It all depends on whether they look like they need it or...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

K well I decided I am not going to water them tonight and see how they do waiting another day. Tomorrow I think I will start with some nutrients in the water; the plants look a little pale. I'm going to start at 1ml per gal just to be safe, then bring it up as they look like they need it. I...

So everything is going well and the plants seem to be growing pretty quickly. I lowered the light yesterday, and then again today. I have just been giving them water with roots excelurator in it. Here are some pics, I just took close ups of the two biggest ones (7 and 8).

Relatively, only thing that might be different is water retention. Coco holds 8 to 10 times its weight in water I think so you probably don't have to water as much as you would using 100% perlite, which I assume dries out kinda quick because so much air can get through? They are both inert...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

Hmm I don't think I would have to do that just cause coco changes PH rather quickly to wtvr the ph is of the water you are pouring through it. Unlike soil where there is nutrients in the medium, which will affect the PH, coco is inert and will stay relatively close to the PH you set your...

    2000w White Russian Coco Grow

I like it mainly because of the fact it is inert, that way I can control every bit of nutrients the plants get. Also I like it because it is extremely hard to overwater your plants. So far I have enjoyed working with it a lot. :)
