    3000K Orange Flouros?

3000K t5's are more energy efficient per lumen than MH. The T5's are 5000 lumens per 54 Watts. Metal halide is approximately 5000 lumens per 67 watts. So, if you have (6) four foot long 54W t5's... it would equal the lumens of a 400W metal halide, but be more energy efficient, much cooler, and...

    3000K Orange Flouros?

Ok... I just did some more reading. It seems that HPS bulbs DO put out more lumens per watt than fluoros. So you wouldnt save money there. It seems that fluoros are a win/win over metal halide bulbs though.

    3000K Orange Flouros?

3000K T5 fluorescent bulbs produce a Red/Orange spectrum for budding and flowering (similar to HPS). How do these bulbs stack up against HPS in terms of flower growth? This is what I know so far... *The T5's save on energy per lumen. *The T5's run much, much cooler. *The T5's cover more...

How bad did I screw up?

Ok.. thanks fellas. I have put some money and work into these, I guess I'll have to be more careful. It's a good thing that they'll stop growing in height, cause they're already 2-1/2 feet tall, and I only vegged for 3-1/2 weeks... good genetics I guess. So... should I cut off the dead leaves...

How bad did I screw up?

These are 12 days into flower, and I let the light get too close today. The leaves are burned pretty bad, but all the bud sites still look good. How will this affect my yield?

    New Grower

I wouldn't throw it away...! If it is a true hermie (you will know in time), just make sure that you keep a close eye on it an keep cutting off the male parts as they grow. You'll at least get some good bud from it this way, and you'll avoid pollination of your other plants.

    fox farm soil

Just use an ocean forest / perlite mix all the way through. You don't need to get fancy with the soil like that.

    My plants won't bloom.

My soil is fox farm ocean forest mixed 50/50 with perlite. So, it is a very light & airy mix. I water them, then the next day I nute them, then water, then nute....... so they get the water everyday. Drainage is like whoa! I put too much perlite in there. My main concern is the flowers...

    My plants won't bloom.

lol you ok? Yes I know they roughly double, and I have plenty of head room. When I started flower, they were 18". I did not know about the 14 day stretch phase, but thank you for informing me, I'm not worried so much now. Undercupping of the leaves means overwatering, ok i'll remember that...

My plants were all droopy yesterday... so I watered them and they perked right up. Why do you say I'm overwatering?

    My plants won't bloom.

Hey Moby... thanks for the reply. This is my first grow also. I'm starting to get a little worried, because they are clearly still growing taller avery day, and i'm not seeing much flowering happening. I don't want em getting too tall! They are already two and a half feet tall. Anyone else have...

    My plants won't bloom.

Heres a pic. They are white widow... vegged them for 4 weeks... now they are on day 9 of flower. Using 400w hps, 12/12 lighting, and tiger bloom/big bloom for nutes. They don't seem to want to bloom. I was able to determine sex on all of them after only 5 or 6 days... but all I have is a few...

7 days into flowering... Is this right?

My camera just won't do it... the preflowers are too small, it wont focus. I really am beginning to think that I must have a light leak.
