It depends what medium you are using and how big the plants are. Generally speaking when I used RW, I only watered once a day. Using hydroton I tend to water 4 times a day, just long enough to fill up my tray and only when the lights are on.

I am no expert, but as others have said it sounds like you over watered. FWIW, my first grow I had great results with NL from Sensi.

Your RW cubes should weigh 25g wet. It is easy to over water them. Also try a heat mat, but if you use a humidity dome like I do, you will probably get too much humidity. I had to buy a dome with adjustable vents on the top. It works great.
