yeah its great i actully use the airation mix same thing just more perlite. i still add 2-4 ml cal/mag never any probs.

if you want to do ebb flo but like soil then you need to do coco ebb flo. acts llike soil but feeds like hydro best of both worlds .

its a quantum digital ballast with a hortilux bulb 600w every thing ran fine for a while now the bulb flashes on and off like 5 times a minute. wow it been a while but with the new vert section i want to relive my old vert days. maybe even give it a try again??? as for final numbers i did hit the 4# mark but just barely think i had about an oz over, you make the call, i've since switched to coco F&D and can get 4 out of the same room...

i ran a couple of vert gardens and always liked them and YES they produced well somwhere in the .75gpw area. the problem i've always had was accessing the entire grow. i've done a shelf style with three levels on 3 sides and the rear corners got mold and bugs cause after a month of flower there...

another good option to the mixing tubs is a washing machine over flow tray, they are 26x30 and about 2 1/2 inches deep. they would work for a shallow F&D but really good for top feed or just to catch run off when hand watering. plus there only like 9 bucks if i remembeer right.
