This is day 37. Here are some close ups of some of the nicer looking plants. They're all looking great though, just some a bit further along than the others. All of the plants are about the same height (about 6 inches tall).

How exactly would that work? I know that topping causes the plants to split and grow two shoots in that spot. Would I just cut one of them as a clone instead of letting it grow for budding? How big would it have to be before I cut it?

Thanks, yah, I guess I'll unscrew 2 bulbs for right now. Its day 22, and I just found my first two males. They definitely have balls, so they're getting the axe. I *think* I found my first two females too though! I'll snap some photos later tonight or tomorrow.

I don't know for sure as I have never done it, but there are growers who cut clones from mothers and go straight to 12/12 so it definitely seems possible. Its how some of the more successful micro growers seem to operate really. I don't know the ramifications of cutting clones from a flowering...

The room temperature was the problem. I've moved one of the boxes to another room and its now running at 74-80 depending on how warm the room gets. Now all thats left is a little bit more stealthing of the boxes and then its time to start our experimentation which includes one set of plants...

I think the temperature of the room we've got the boxes in is problematic. I just checked temperatures and they were both at 88 even with the venting. I guess I'll cut another intake hole and see if it helps.

Woohoo, this morning I checked and out of 35 seeds we have 30 sprouts! I added two more lights to the box and tried to get a bit of better coverage. I noticed some of the sprouts on the perimeters stretching towards the light. I think I'm going to leave these guys on 24hr light for a while...
