Need input on experience cloning under 12/12

Hi guys,
Looking for some feedback from people that have successfully rooted clones under 12/12 cycle. I have a SOG underway entering into its 3rd week of flowering and I am ending up with too many males. So I am reading that I'm in luck in the way that this is a great time to take clones. I am not going to spend any more $ on this setup until I get some return (ie a coupl o weeks harvests). So I have a shelf at or just above the level of the lights that I can set clones on and not have them directly in the light. I just would like to hear some encouraging words from peeps that have had success with this as the normal reply is ....no way 18/6 at least or 24/0. So if you done it please drop me a line .

I don't know for sure as I have never done it, but there are growers who cut clones from mothers and go straight to 12/12 so it definitely seems possible. Its how some of the more successful micro growers seem to operate really. I don't know the ramifications of cutting clones from a flowering plant though I can't imagine it would be too horrible as long as you're careful not to over stress the plant.

You will have to give them time to root . I do SOG and always start from clones . I take my clones from a mother plant though . I have never tried to root my clones on 12/12 . I dont think I've even heard of anyone trying this . IMO I dont think you can , could be wrong .
