thinking of new cloner.

After buying two different models and building at least 3 others, I've given up on those and found a system that works nearly 100% for me. Get a bottle of Clonex gel and some Root Riot plugs and you're in business. Get everything ready before you snip. After taking the cuttings and putting them in water I gently scrape some of the outer layer off with a scalpel and cut the end at a 45 degree angle, dip it into some Clonex that I've poured into a little medicine cup, then into the Root Riot plug. The plug with cutting goes into a tray with a hole in the bottom of each section. I fill all the sections with my cuttings and put the tray(s) into a larger tray and add water to about 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. I put a heated seed mat under it with a towel over it. I put a dome on the tray for the first 4-5 days but leave the vents wide open. I put a weak light on them 24/7. In a week there are roots galore and I plant them in my medium. It's not as glamorous as a "clone machine" but it works flawlessly.
My friend swears by this method .. Ill be giving it a try in about 4 weeks ...
