He's a new to the scene, let him start small. If he can successfully grow one, he can start to stagger several plants and get an ounce every few weeks to a month. Once plant takes up very little footprint.

Here is a 3 in 1 adapter and a 5 in 1. The 5 in 1 is nice, each socket rotates so you can get good coverage right where you need it, for cheap.

The cheapest bang for your buck is l.e.d. bulbs, the ones that look like a standard bulbs. Get yourself a 3 in 1 adapter for about $10 online. I can get an ounce yield from a one gallon pot. If you want a cheap startup this has been a proven option for single plant small scale. I will post a pic

Do you have holes drilled in the bottom of the bucket? If you want to leave it in that bucket I would consider using a disk grinder with a cutting disk to cut the extra plastic off. It will help keep stagnant air from sitting around your plant and improve growth

I'd start using light nutes. You don't want to wait for a deficiency to start feeding, ya know? I'm looking at some of the leaves and it looks like they are curling upwards a little bit. This is usually from heat stress. Maybe too close to the lights or too hot? Looks good otherwise. Start...

Your talking about veg'ing for 1 week outside, from seed, then moving it inside under 10.5/13.5 to try to speed up the process? I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I promise you won't get anything near and half ounce per plant. Maybe closer to a half eighth to an eighth if you're lucky...

It does look like it needs another week at the very least. Are you AT 8 weeks or at the END of 8 weeks because that is also a big difference for most strains (Day 50 vs day 56). You will see massive swelling in the second to the last week before proper harvest time with very little new growth...

I'm guessing he means 10 on 14 off. I think I remember reading something about this. I believe you can harvest about a week to two weeks earlier but lose around 25% of the potential yield. I would highly suggest sticking to 12/12.
