It's amazing how much grow takes place in 8 days, especially during the flowering period. My camera took a crap so I haven't been able to get any new pics. The top cola is almost the width of a large lighter and all of the other top buds are sparkling with trich's. A week ago there were none, and now the buds are covered.
I did some trimming yesterday. The plant was getting sooo bushy and the leaves are so wide that 6-8 of the lower colas weren't getting much light. I trimmed 3 branches completely from the main stalk (kind of like a Y, all 3 cuts the same distance apart) which has given me more space to tie down the rest of the branches. Now every bud site is being lit up completely. I also have the main stem tied down and it's now shaped like an "s". I almost have an even canopy of buds. I would say that the lower branches are only about 2 inches from the main cola. I also upgraded two of the 26 watt CFL's for two 42 watt CFL's. My temps have been staying between 73-84 degrees and humidity at 40-50%. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the humidity should be around 30% during flowering to lower the chances of mold. I'm hoping the additional heat put off from the new 42 watt bulbs will lower the humidity.
So today marks 29 days into flowering, 60 days total into the grow.
I'll try to get pics as soon as possible
