i decided overwatering even before i saw the pics. lift the pot, get used to the weight. then water accordingly. I let them get fairly light before water.

just a suggestion but I would stick to 1 gal pots for veg and 5 gal pots for flowering with some good soilless mix for your first grow. I made the mistake years ago of trying hydroponics right off the bat, and it was a nerve wracking experience.

you cant hurry it really, plant need 18+ till sexually mature, until its sexually mature at about 5-7 weeks you really cant do shit. 12/12 is only for promoting flowering within plants that are mature enough to do it

I have a plant with 2 main branches, 1 is ready (plus I'm almost out of smoke) and the other needs a week or two longer. Will it mess up the plant if I snip the one main branch thats ready?

Seems like 10 weeks or so is what everyone says for how long plants should be under 12/12, but I'm averaging more like 15. That is until the hairs are all NOT white and the trichomes have developed well. Is there a way to speed it up, that I'm missing? Second year of growing legal marijuana here...
