There are some out there that are known to have that type of effect on users. The only one I remember off the top of my head is Apollo 13 (Sativa Phenotype - Reserva Privada). I could be wrong but I think BOG used some Apollo in his breeding stock...yes...it seems like maybe his Lifesaver? Check...

Not a problem. Some people flower plants from seed then revert for clones. Or even continue to flower them. You are perfectly safe at 6 weeks. Although....6 weeks is generally enough time to see preflowers, some strains take longer than others I guess.

I have actually heard, and experienced differently. My plants did most of their verticle growth during the first two weeks of flowering. I had just repotted 5 days before and hit it with some serious nutes, but yeah....they got big =) first pic is the day I started flowering and the second is 2...

It sounds like just a combination of genetics and lighting. More sativa dominant straints will grow taller thinner buds that "stretch". Indica dominants grow shorter, fatter, denser buds.This "stretching" is also a common side effect of inadequate light source. Nothing will fatten up your buds...

Could be a couple of things or a combination of both. Looks either like...obviously new bud growth. Or it could be that the buds are growing in a string, fluffy way due to either genetics or poor lighting. Or it could potentially be all 3. So tell me more about genetics...lighting...all the...
