    Too long germinating?

no plant it so its like 2mm under the soil. just cover the top gently with loose soil . any white = under the ground...any green = above the ground . that should help with the planting.

A Second Opinion - DWC - Starting Flowing - Pics

I would think that raising the plants would maximize the light intake and therefore allow for better budding. because shes switching to budmode, a lot of energy is being allocated to produce those buds. the more light you give her the more she'll have to grow and produce buds i say raise!

I kept my male in a friends apartment just in a glass of water with the natural daylight and it matured, then I wrapped it in plastic and when the pollen sacks burst, i was able to collect all the dust and the sacks and store them in a ziplock bag. dust some of that dust on some bud and you've...

    Dwc questions

I ran a DWC system and only changed my water once right before flowering and didnt use any meters. it wasnt accurate at all but everything went really smooth and i had no problems. I have come to the understanding that I was very lucky to not have a catastrophic failure lol.

as well as maximal lighting distances and lumens! Perhaps think about getting a glass cover to reduce the heat and decrease the distance from the plant tops to the light. get their every second of life as ideal as you can possibly make it, and watch them flourish! Learn about what the leaves...

First grow ever. hydro. PICS! some help

good job, excellent looking. You got all the right equipment at more or less the right time, and its paying off! Now that all the foundation is set (lighting and your methods so far), you need to be concerned about the smaller things that can potentially have a big impact. Depending on how much...

    What about...

clogging shouldnt be an issue because you shouldnt put your plants in water with chunks of molasses. Depending on the size of the reservoir you should be mixing the molasses in really well so there isn't much risk for clogging

    First timer

There is lots of info here and on the net about building your own system, something like a DWC in a small tub is very easy to setup and do. You can get away doing hydro cheap if you use CFL's as opposed to the HID that gohydro suggested. There have been VERY promising results achieved with CFL...
