hey im just getting ready to throw my two plants into 12/12 but i need to get some seeds out of this run and im hoping that their both female but i need to get seeds either way. i was wondering how i could get one or two branches on one of my plants to go hermy without turning the whole plant...
i took three of the gigantic Gatorade bottles( their like a gallon or something) then i taped them all together in a circle and then put 1 in tubing coming in from the tops of 2 of the bottles into the back one teach with a valve to cut off air flow on each tube then i put a tube going form each...
there is some green shit growing on the top of my soil at first i thought it would go away since there wasn't much and it was in only one pot but now there's a lot and in both pots. i need to know what this is and if its dangerous.
they broke the surface!! i used the same method i have been the whole time only i let the root get about a half an inch and 24 hours later they are doing terrific!! thanks for all the help but i guess the only problem i had was that i planted them straight off as soon as they cracked.
the place i put my seeds stays about a constant 80 so i think heat is fine also i don't think its moisture problems because i can leave it for days and the paper towel will barely lose any moisture
i emailed them and they haven't responded yet but im hoping that i may be able to get more seeds. they took a week and a half to ship mine and another week to get here so maybe you'll get them.
i take a plate and a bowl and four paper towels. i take the paper towels and fold them up and then dunk them in water then i let then drip until they stop then i give then a slight squeeze to get a little bit more water out. then i put the seeds in amd fold the paper towels in half so half is on...
i dont think the problem is with the paper towel method it has to be with my setup or the environment i don't know but it seems like they do fine until i put them in the soil
