there is some green shit growing on the top of my soil at first i thought it would go away since there wasn't much and it was in only one pot but now there's a lot and in both pots. i need to know what this is and if its dangerous.

That looks like some bogus soil..where'd you buy? looks like mold. I'd transplant in some new quality and baked soil real soon..

Can't it be from overwatering+ the light? Make sure there is drainage holes in the bottom!!

you soil stuff needs better drainage or u are watering way to much. you should let the top 2 inches get dry b4 u water again.dry soil and algae dont get along with each other.

yeah that does look like algae.. YUCK............gl getting rid of that transplant them babies in a new soil n less water..

lol, actually its pretty easy to ger rid of algae, just remove the top inch or so of soil with algae on it then let the new top of the soil dry out like normal and it'll kill all the algae and it wont return. worked for me at least.....
