Ok, so I'm going to answer my own question. As for lumen's per watt these lamps are not much better than t-8's. A new t5 bulb puts out 100 lumen's per watt. Where these induction lamps have the edge over fluorescents is the deprecation in light output induction lamp life hours 100,000 and 5%...

Definitly 600 watt. You get almost double the lumens as a 400 watt and only using 200 watts more
