I always calibrate mine using 7.0 solution. You can use both if you want, but I never use the 4.0. As far as conversion you don't have to convert, that is just for the solution you use to test it. So if you have ph solution of 7 then use that, if 4 then use the 4.

help with meter please wasa wondering if im supposed to have my hanna meter set at conversion 0.50 or 0.70 that is for when im reading my ppm's thank for u help
