It looks to me like he is using them to fill up the empty volume in his trays, so he can use less water(nutrient mix) to fill the trays while flooding.

Hey Brother, I just wanted to give some love and props to your farm. It's 110 deg up here in Butte Co, so I'm hiding from the heat today and have spent the last few hours reading your 2014 and 2015 grow journals. I admire your passion and dedication to farming. You and your crew make it look...

    Oregon Diesel anyone?

Just a bump ..someone has to have some experience with this strain. Here are a couple pictures of my early flowering bitches.

Posted in the Bugs section but didnt get many responses

looks like Boxelder Bugs or Chinch bugs.. if they have any red on them they are Boxelder and won't do much damage if any. If they are Chinch bugs, they are bad.

Bro, I really like the set-up. Similar to mine but much cleaner with the cedar vs bamboo stakes and trellis. Nice work man.

    Oregon Diesel anyone?

@Amshif87 thanks for the info. I have heard it is a popular strain in Oregon, my sister is up there and said the same. I can see how it would be a great strain to have in the garden, I just wish I had known she was an earlier flowerer. I would have given them a little extra light to keep her...

mother getting 18 hrs light/day and flowering! Why?

I would guess that you have some auto flower in the strain somewhere. I personally don't do the slow light transition. I run 24/0 in veg and then go to 12/12 when I flip. Just my personal approach, but that way it leaves no option to the ladies when to start showing their vaginas.

Oregon Diesel The perfect PNW Plant?

Great read Sub. Its been a while since I've been on these boards. I was given some Oregon D this year and they looked so good in early veg I planted 30 in my outdoor garden this year. I was caught off guard by the early flowering and feel better after stumbling across this thread. They all...
