Ugh..

Fox farms is Not considered the best nutes by everyone on this forum.

H202 kills beneficial root bacteria, don't use it unless you're having root rot problems or such.

Why would you use miracle grow over botanicare? Better yet, why would you use miracle grow at all? If you're not seeing the results you want you're either doing something wrong or have unrealistic goals.

We'll it looks like were off to a good start on this thread---They're so many products out there but one thing that seems to be contestant is that the manufacturers recommended doses are almost always to high----Do they care about our plants or are they just trying to get us to buy as much fert as they can possibly sell us-----whats your opinion and experience on the subject?

I started in veg cycle with Miracle grow all purpose plant food 20-20-20 and used 1/2 of what they recommended and uped the dose my next fertilizing and my plants looked GREAT with in 2 hours of using it the first time. I have heard the thing about adding hydrogen peroxide as well. Haven't done it, i use 1/2 vermiculite with my soil and that gives it enough breathing room.

Where do you buy all those nutrients. I had a hard enough time finding plain old fucking miracle gro. haha, these plants are the first and only plants i've been able to keep alive. but that's because they are so important to me.

I am not going to tell you which nutes to buy but I will help with guiding you to a choice that meets your requirements/growing system/medium, and budget. I'm sure other's will help on this site as well(there are a lot of growers on here that have more knowledge and experience---that's what's so great about this site) Let's get you started:

1. What growing system are you currently or planning on using?
2. What is the medium you will be growing in(soil, rockwool, coco, fyto)?
3. organic or chemical?
4 budget for nutrients?

The information you posted on specific chemicals of nutrients was very informative and interesting. This thread is for anyone that wants to share info on the specific brands of nutrients growers are using, and any related material, tips, and results from using such products. Hope you will find something on this thread that interests you, If not------------thanks for stopping by...

This website is just the same crap being asked over and over again.. doesn't anyone have anything productive to say??

By the way there are like a million threads on nutrients. I don't think we need an "official nutrients thread".

Wow... someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Yes there may be a million threads on a subject... but not everyone searches them out.... (some probably don't even know how to search).

Everyone is entitled to use the New Thread button to suit their needs.... no one is forcing you to read or respond to them.

I'm not trying to be mean.... I'm just saying... try to remember when you were new and impatient about getting answers. Remember... for every one experienced grower here there are probably 100 of us noobs trying to fumble our way through our first grow. :-?

:peace:
