It's not conjecture at all. Be it worse or better, you are getting absolutely fucked by your government and your guns mean nothing. That's what they have ther swat teams for. Next time you see a policeman breaking the law, hold him to account with your gun and see what happens. You will be in jail or dead. Your guns don't mean squat when it comes to the government. They will kill you if you tried to defend your grow even if it was in compliance with state law.

And i did not mention any murder rates for a reason. I simply mentioned the notion of criminals with guns. They carry guns because they know you do. It is amazing how few americans understand this. Most americans seem utterly unaware that it is their law, not the criminals intentions, that have allowed them to carry guns, which in turn has forced you to own guns. Not all criminals are stupid. If they know they can rob a house carrying nothing but a baseball bat, they will not carry a gun instead, because they are aware of how drastically the punishment changes if caught. Remember, criminals are in the game to win, and if failing that, they plan to get off as lightly as possible.

You don't seem to understand the argument I was making. I was fairly certain this was clear enough, but what I was saying is: how can you be sure that things wouldn't be worse...say like Nazi Germany, or any other of the 100% factually documented authoritarian regimes that came about after the leaders demanded an unarmed populace? So yes, everything you said was conjecture. When I said the thing about murder rates I was more so referring to another poster before you who had mentioned them. I've gotta call this next one as I see it: Are you fucking kidding me!?!?! You honestly think that criminals carry guns because they believe that their victims are also carrying one? You must have never known a criminal in your life if you think that's true. Criminals don't pick hard targets my friend. If a criminal believes that a person they are about to target for a crime is carrying a firearm they are going to change their target really quick. These people aren't looking for a shoot out. They're looking for a quick score. Apparently it's amazing how many non-Americans have no idea what they're talking about. I don't think you know what you're saying. Criminals do not plan to get off as lightly as possible, they plan to not get caught. You seem to be under the impression that it's the wild west over here and that every person is walking around pointing guns at everyone, and there are duels at high-noon. 9 times out of 10 no weapon would be needed to rob a house period. They're looking to get inside (most likely when you're not home), steal what they want, and leave. Again, they aren't looking for a shootout.

If I was informed correctly, she was driving straight at him when he shot her, but in no way am I saying that makes it legit if that's what happened. It's not like there was a road block set up on some road and instead of stopping, she floored it and went flying straight at it trying to kill everyone...in which case I may be on his side. He could have easily jumped to the side and avoided all bullshit, had the stores check the cameras, see her perfectly, easily discover who she is, and then serve whatever justice is actually needed. BUT NO, he had to stroke his tiny dick and fire his pistol at her to prove what a man he is, and that "Nobody commits a crime when Jack Jackofferson is on the scene." Of course, that's purely conjecture, but probably correct none-the-less.

Uh, sorry OP about the guns jack'n your thread. All I ment was I like guns in general not just one for protection. I like to shoot a variety of guns,I shoot handguns, target shoot,and I like to skeet shoot with a few different gauge of shotguns...... it's not always about killing something, sometimes it's just a good rush and a fine sport.
I also study martial arts, but I don't go around looking to fight.

I personally would have destroyed those kids, once I see that gun barrel coming towards me it becomes self defence. I don't care what age you are, if you stoop that low (especially to do it to an older lady wtf) I will wreck you as soon as I get the chance. I posted that video, to show that not every kid is going to react negatively in a very stressful situation, the skater or anyone of his friends could've gotten the gun and shot the kid that started it. But they didn't, what they did do, however violent it may seem, was get their point across.
