fact: afghani citizens do not have the rights that americans do.
You don't think people worldwide should be able to live in peace without uncle sam kicking in your door and dragging you half way accross the world to be tortured for something you didn't do and have no involvement in?

And presidents Clinton, Bush & Soetoro have the balls to get on their soapboxes and talk about, equality, liberty & freedom... You don't see anything wrong with that?

Anytime there's war in any capacity innocent life will be lost... Are you advocating that everyone in AF/Pak should be treated like enemy combatants?

Occupying forces should do everyting they can to preserve life and the political leaders should reflect this moral viewpoint. It's what differenciates us from our enemies.

I think your opinions would differ greatly if you'd ever been deployed to a warzone in service of your country.

so you think our forces go around brazenly murdering anyone they can and that we only hear about this once in a blue moon?

atrocities happen in war and if discovered are often punished. but not all are. justice is imperfect.

at least we got rid of the torture policies of our previous administration. that's a start.

afghanis are worried about our departure. it could cripple their economy. http://m.npr.org/news/front/164962359

and then there are the little girls getting shot in the head for advocating education. pretty sure a lot pakistanis wouldn't mind us shooting some peace and civility into them.

atrocious, sure. but it's war. everything has costs and benefits. you seem to expect a world with just benefits, but no price to pay.

Obama kept it going with his fast n furious buddy holder. Again Indictments in 2010. Or was bush still pres in your world?
O'Bama didn't do shit. The investigation and the indictment followed procedure. Just like any other government investigation and indictment process. The indictment was already in the works during the Bush Administration and came to fruition as O'Bama was settling into his office. The fuck up was Steve Tyrell. He was out for blood and didn't care who he stepped on to get it. A Bush appointee.

Obama is the NDAA - its his policy and an indication on how he views the freedoms and liberties that americans take for granted. Or did he not sign that into law?
NDAA was a bill introduced that O'Bama opposed. He fought for and got a change in the bill which only allowed the President the power to detain indefinitely. Which excludes American citizens I might add. We debated this topic until my nipples fell off. Before O'Bama asked for the change the bill was so ambiguous that it allowed anyone in Congress to detain indefinitely. Do you really think that kind of power should be in the hands of Akin or Mourdock.. how about Allen West? O'Bama signed the bill with the change to put Congress in check. It was a brilliant political move.

Its a case of do as I say, not as I do with soetoro.

Again im please that his empty rhetoric on gay marriage & equality elicits support for all his policies

That right buck - If you aint served you aint got nothing to say!

I didn't defend shit. We helped our allies and locals (indig), but AUS was there at the behest of the US and her financial & corporate interests. If the US really wanted to put a dent in salafi jihadists networks, it should've been Saudi Arabia & Pakistan.

so you knew the threat was in other countries, but you signed up to serve in afghanistan why?

He wouldn't have the balls - he'd get a swift throat punch!
physical force is a rather ham-fisted answer to the question.

didn't you serve to defend, rather than constrict, freedom of speech?
