Yup. I've been involved in paranormal investigating for years. Not enough time to elaborate right now, maybe later. But most of what you see on tv, and what most folks report as ghosts are usually something perfectly normal. The real stuff is few and far between.

for me it is something I would have to encounter first hand to truly believe, until that day comes I am not a believer

My grandmother had to bring water from the local spring to the house. There was no running water in the house. Her last chore for the evening was to get water for washing the dinner dishes and to have enough for washing up in the morning. She was a very practical woman. She was a school teacher and spoke four languages. She never believed in ghosts or anything silly like that (her words).

One night it was a little cooler than most. She said that it was mid July and she could see her breath. While she was carrying the buckets she saw someone running down the path. At first she thought it was one of her sister-in-laws and was concerned that something was wrong. The figure running towards her seemed like it was running for its life. When it got closer she realized the figure was hard to focus on. It kept blurring in and out. When it finally got close enough she could see blood down the front of the figures dress. She dropped her buckets and started running towards the figure until she got close enough to make out better details. She said the last thing she remembers before she fainted was the figure running towards her had no head. On top of that, she could see the severed arteries and trachea exposed and bleeding. She said she thought it was screaming as it ran towards her until she realized that she was the one screaming. She passed out.

Her in-laws came looking for her after they heard the scream. They couldn't apologize enough. They knew about the figure. It was a ghost that several in the community have seen over the years. No one knows why the figure runs on the path. One person was brave enough to follow it and see it dive into the spring. It has been speculated that a woman was murdered and her body hidden in the spring years before it was a settled area.

That was the only incident my grandmother ever had with the paranormal. She still scoffed at ghost stories but she got really angry if someone tried to make fun of her story. She held to it until the day she died. She said she never went down to that spring alone again.

I've never seen a ghost but I wouldn't say I don't believe in them.
Same thing with aliens and the female orgasm
Just because I've never seen a real one doesn't mean they don't exsist lol

I can say that I never believed in ghost before. Till I saw one in 2002 on a job site @ around 11pm.
I could not believe it. Did some research where the tragic accident took the life of 2 men. One man died on impact when their small plane crashed into a warehouse. The other was alive and burned to death in front of the warehouse workers. Horrible death because he didn't die right away. He burned to death. The f-up thing is the fire was extinguished 3 times and re-ignited again, again and again till he died.
I only saw the ghost of the guy that died.

Not interested in seeing a ghost ever again...to freaky

I still till today have doubts. But, I know I saw what I saw.

The first ghost i saw was while my son and i were visiting my aunt for a week and she bought this old ass house on the lake and we'd been there a few days and i left my son to hang with his aunt and i got home around 3 am and went go to crash on the couch but my son had fallen asleep on it instead of the love seat so i picked him up carried to the other couch and what not decided hell gonna step out and have a toke i walked out of the living room to head outside when i realized i had forgot my phone so i turned back around and watched a red what i though was my aunt in her goofy ass komono checking on my boy it went from left to right and at the angle to go in the living room it was standing over my son watching him like i said thought it was just my aunt but when i rounded the corner no one was there and started replaying in my mind like what the eff was the first of many ghostly encounter

haha holy shit, that would be so crazy to experience

I haven't ever seen a ghost, but I believe I saw a UFO. When I lived with my parents, I was laying outside on the driveway talking to my high school sweet heart when I clearly saw a set of lights traveling Super fast back and forth in the sky. I immediately told my GF but after saying it, I realized how silly it sounded and tried to change the subject. She brought it up days later and did indeed think it was silly. I don;t mention it so much anymore after I tried telling a couple of close relatives only to be told it must have mistaken what I saw or there must be some logical explanation. I simply accepted it and moved on, but this kinda stuff really fascinates me now.
