I passed the CBEST and all other qualifications a teacher needs. I've taught at dozens of public schools. That makes me more than qualified.
And that is what will make you more qualified than 99% of the Homeschoolers out there

Both my parents are retired teachers. I hated school. It was so boring I spent my senior year reading the whole Webster college edition dictionary. All I wanted to do was write my stories and was ridiculed by all the teachers. When we were assigned Huckleberry Finn, we were told not to read the "n word" aloud. I did anyway and was never asked to read in class ever again. If you don't like the word read, don't read the book.

I just wrote an overview citing numerous examples but the fucking site timed me out when I went to upload it. So I will be brief. FYI all these examples can be googled:

Unlawful Laws: As it is of interest to this audience we could start with Wm Randolph Hearst, famous publisher. He was heavily invested in tree farms to supply his news papers and magazine empire (and probably toilet paper). Hemp was/is a much better choice for paper goods, but he was powerful enough to get congress to outlaw hemp.

Agriculture: Some 50=60 years ago Dupont began developing soil nutrients and vitamins from coal tar-
it should be obvious the toll such non-nutrients have taken on our health.

Monsanto created Frankenseeds - genetically modified seeds/plants that have almost wiped out bees- no natural pollination = huge profits

Education was long ago molded specifically to develop worker bees. Numerous books (going back decades) have been written describing the problems

Health? Big Pharma goes out of its way to turn common mineral and nutrient deficiencies into diseases never to be cured but to be managed with long term use of medication. Long term use of a medication atrophies the natural immune system. Once it atrophies, it is almost impossible to restore. And then there's vaccines like Gardasil

Big Business: Read John Perkins Confessions of an Economic Hit-man ( past NYT best seller)

Banking. Imagine where we would be had congress bailed out the tax payer instead of the greedy thieves who created the mess.

War Machine We have replaced England as the world's Imperialist, forcing our 'democracy' down the throats of weaker nations.

Those at the top who have and continue to mold our world to do their bidding, have done so using might, fear and greed.

If you don't vote for people like Ron Paul you get the same government that has overtly/covertly methodically eroded our rights and freedoms.

If you haven't figured that out by now, you deserve the government you allow to strip you of opportunity.

yea well they spent 500 million dollars on a train that travels less then 10 miles.. not to mention no one uses it because it has stations in all the stupidest places with not connection buses. lmao that is .07% of Obama's entire stimulus package and it created 2 jobs. for the 2 trains that dive up and down all day shipping less the 20 people.

Edit.: Excuse me its only 7 miles lmao

This is a perfect example of what happens when someone gets frustrated because they are wrong. People that don't fully understand why our forefathers set up the country the way they did commonly get confused and turn to the current statusquo for guidance. Reread the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and then ask yourself if where we are now as a country is where we were supposed to be. This country is supposed to be a place of opportunity and FREEDOM. Instead we are a country of regulations and a false sense of freedom. People don't migrate here because they want the government to tell them how to run their lives; they do so in an attempt to escape the tyranny they face in their home country. Sadly they are finding the grass isn't greener here.

Tell us; what is it exactly that you don't like about Ron Paul. Find me one, just one valid example of him flip flopping on his views. And don't give me Reagan as an example. Ron Paul supported Reagan until REAGAN flopped on his stance on foreign policy.

So the teachers pushing kids and their parents into falsely believing they have ADHD just because they can't manage is the parents fault? How about the kids who aren't challenged in school who act out are shoved into remedial programs and are told that AP classes aren't for them?

I just fooled 3 recent high school graduates today into believing that 10*11 = 111.

I'm not saying the parents aren't failing as well, but our public education system is making parents more and more dependent on the schools to teach their kids.

WOW I'm the lazy one. You make a list of false statements and won't back them up. I've looked into all of your babble already. Believe it or not you aren't the first to say those things. Funny though, I've never had one person back these types of statements with hard facts. I'm not talking about Mexican our joke of a border is a revolving door.

During the 2008 election, Ron Paul became a grassroots icon in his fierce denunciations of Big Government, Big Spending and the federal government’s failure to live by our Constitution.
Unfortunately, his actions don’t match his rhetoric.
According to a Houston Chronicle analysis of the $410 billion dollar spending bill passed by Congress at the end of February, Ron Paul had a role in obtaining 22 earmarks, totaling $96.1 million—making him the pork-leader of Houston’s congressional delegation.
Paul’s office did not respond to comment requests from the Chronicle; however, on Paul’s congressional Web site, it states: “As long as the Federal government takes tax money from [Paul's] constituents, he will make every effort to return that money to his district.”
Comforting logic, consistent with our Constitution? Not really.
This isn’t the first time Congressman Paul has been caught with his hand in the federal cookie jar. In August of last year, a Wall Street Journal article highlighted Paul’s request for 65 earmarks costing nearly $400 million. This included $8 million for marketing shrimp, and $2.3 million for shrimp-fishing research.
At the time, Paul’s spokesperson told the Journal that, “Reducing earmarks does not reduce government spending, and it does not prohibit spending upon those things that are earmarked.”
“What people who push earmark reform are doing is they are particularly misleading the public — and I have to presume it’s not by accident,” the spokesperson added.
Again, not a very convincing logical justification. And, Paul’s spokesperson certainly didn’t explain how marketing shrimp is consistent with the U.S. Constitution.
Paul is far from the top of the list of Big Spenders in Congress, but he isn’t at the bottom either. Earmarks are a small portion of Congress’ overall spending; however, you have to start somewhere to cut spending, and eliminating earmarks is as good of a place as any.
Although Paul ended up voting against the $410 billion spending bill, he still had his hands in the cookie jar. At the end of the day, he’ll end up with taxpayer cash flowing into his district, but can boast about a clean record.
A list of Congressman Paul’s 2009 earmark requests can be found here.

There has been controversy over Ron Paul’s ties to racism for some time now. Many people have pointed to Ron Paul’s Newsletters as proof of his racism. Paul has previously admitted to writing the newsletters and defended the statements in 1996, then blamed them on an unnamed ghostwriter in 2001 and then denied any knowledge of them in 2008. He has given no explanation, for how the racism entered his newsletter. If we are to take Paul at his word, he is guilty of at least promoting racism on a large scale. Paul earned almost a million dollars a year from the racist, conspiracy theorist newsletters. Here are some excerpts that I’ve found.

In this story Ron Paul writes about “needlin” and blames packs of young black girls for spreading AIDS to white women. I could find no evidence of this “epidemic” and the article seems to have no point other than to make white people scared of Black people.

In this piece he criticizes Martin Luther King as a pro-communist philanderer and says the MLK holiday is “Hate Whitey Day.” This is in great contrast to 2008 when he told Wolf Blitzer that Martin Luther King was one of his heroes. When activists suggested naming a city after Martin Luther King Paul suggested other names such as “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,” and “Lazyopolis” He would continue:

In another piece he blamed Black people for the riots that happened in Chicago in 1992 after the Bulls won the NBA Championship

Paul here is using false information to attack African Americans. The Washington Post reported that 1000 people were arrested but did not indicate their race. The riot, like most sports riots was multi-racial, including Blacks, white and Latinos, yet Paul used the incident to demonize African Americans. The Washington Post also reported that two officers suffered minor gunshot wounds and that 95 were injured in total, but the way Paul phrased it, it would seem most of the 95 officers injured were shot.

In this article Paul uses the “carjacking” epidemic to put fear into white people. He advises them to carry guns and shoot “carjackers” illegally and then dispose of their weapons. He also refers Black people as “animals” and directly refers to his home town of Lake Jackson, Texas.
The newsletters also contained the quotes:
opinion polls consistently show only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions
if you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be,
This is only the first skirmish in the race war of the 1990s
Here are some of the newsletters I could find. They also contain a good deal of homophobic and Black Helicopter, New World Order conspiracy theories and warnings of upcoming in “race wars.”

The so-called reform legislation being proposed is clearly unconstitutional. The First amendment unquestionably grants individuals and businesses the free and unfettered right to advertise, lobby, and contribute to politicians as they choose. More importantly, the Constitution does not grant Congress the power to regulate campaigns. In fact, article II expressly authorizes the regulation of elections, so the omission of campaigns is glaring. While some in the media have raised First amendment questions, few seem to understand that Congress clearly lacks the constitutional power to regulate campaigns at all.
Campaign finance reform really means more regulations, more controls, more telling the American people how they can spend their money and how they can lobby Congress. Your freedoms should not be restricted because some politicians cannot control themselves. The problem is that there are members of Congress who yield to the temptation and influence of money, who effectively sell their votes to those who can give them money and keep them in office. If enough members did not yield to the temptation, they would not have to posture with phony campaign finance reform bills and they would not have to undermine the Constitution.

Yep, money the people of Texas payed in taxes. I think a good congressman would earmark funds so that they go back to the people that helped pay them. Last time I checked Texas is a coastal state that supplies shrimp and other seafood across the country. SO I guess what you are saying is that it is OK to be taxed, but not OK to expect your tax money to go towards the betterment of those contributing. Your article fails to note that Ron Paul returned 140K to the treasury last year.
"Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) returned $100,000 of his Congressional office budget to the United States Treasury. CAIVN editor and contributing author Ryan Jaroncyk wrote:

"Like him or hate him, Dr. Ron Paul doesn't just talk a big game about fiscal conservatism, he lives it... Unlike the vast majority of politicians, he doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk."

Taking another step forward in 2011, the Texas congressman and darling of the more libertarian, Tea Party wing of the Republican Party is continuing to walk the walk, returning a whopping $140,000 in unused office funds to the U.S. Treasury for the purpose of paying down the national debt. The sum is nearly 10% of his office funds and a 40% increase over the $100,000 he returned last year.

In 2009, Ron Paul returned $90,000 from his office budget, and in 2008, he returned $58,000. It seems that with each passing year the 2008 presidential contender returns a little more ..."
