Florida Growers Thread

Well I woke up to hear some bullshit on bay news 9. They said even if the medical marijuana law passes in Florida the federal government will peruse charges on those who grow openly and those who open dispensaries!! Did they not get the message from Obama or what?? So Florida will be the only state getting policed by the feds. WTF!

Here is a quick pic of the girls at dawn, dew-kissed and smokin' hot.

Left to right, 3 gallon containers, pic 1:
1. Paradise Pandora 61 days, 26"; This one just keeps swelling and swelling; six secondary colas have formed, all 14"-20"+ tall; LST'd her.
2. Paradise Pandora 61 days 18"; Failure to launch on this one; might be the pheno, could have been stress, but was always slower.
3. Short Stuff Blue Himalaya 57 days 12"; She has had large calyxes since week two of flowering, short side colas. This is going to be a resin monster.
4. Buddha Seeds Syrup 57 days 16"; This one smells dreamy, like overripe fruit. This is going to be candy.
5. Buddha Seeds Red Dwarf 57 days 18"; Skunk genes strike again with a nice short, wide-as-it-is-tall shrub; great thick side colas. She has impressed me.

Pic 2 Pandora #1. I thought she was stretching too much due to the Sativa genes and heat, but man o man is she filling out with no gaps on the stems whatsoever; sexy curves.

Given the first 7 weeks of their life the temps were in the 90's to 100's, these autos are doing well. They are very sensitive to stress and they do want nutes. A lot of people say not to use too many nutes due to the fast growth and short veg time of autos (plus easy to nute burn), so I used very little. Once the girls started to turn pale green and stopped growing at week 4, I gave them 1/2 dose of bloom and three days later all darkened and had a growth spurt, no nute burn. So I kept up the nute regimen for the last 4 weeks and it has paid off.

Last, note the bird netting that I put over the girls. It keeps deer from being able to bite the plants (deer used to be my worst enemy; I have witnessed them on several occasions shy away from the netting like it is a spiders web). Grasshoppers land on it and go crazy like it is a spider web, and will not go through it (usually). Also keeps birds off of the plants (danger here is the care package they leave on your bud - "you mean I'm smokin' bird shit?"). Even better, it breaks up the outline of the plants from a distance, great for stealth.

Peace out and happy growing!

Man today was a hot one in my neck of the woods. I have a good five footer off my property. I got one four footer in my yard. The one in my yard is for sure female as I found out last winter. Yep she is about 4 or five months now.

It was relatively cool up here in north central. I actually drove the car without the ac on today lol. I think I'm going to order some autoflowering strains and make a 5x5x8 box outside with shade cloth and some leftover mylar. I'm pretty secluded out here on my ten acres off a dirt road on the outskirts of town but cops still drive down my road making me terribly uncomfortable.

yeah mine are monsters now. 4 and 6 ft almost. the more i think about cops rolling up on a grow for one of these reasons: one is a snitch and someone snitched you out. the other is large grow busted by ghetto bird. the other is cops are chasing someone through your area and run up on it. and the last reason is growing in your yard and they serve papers. so if your not greedy and remember the three L's (no smell no tell no sell) and dont grow in your immediate living area you should be pretty safe. cuz cops just dont walk through the woods looking for shit walking aimlessly. but i think 5 plants or less is reletively safe

I saw on the news last night about a guy's grow op that got busted in Collier County and the news was filled with disinformation.

First of all there were about 10 plants grown in soil in a guys garage and they claimed they seized 300 lbs, guess they weighed the dirt but yet they left the pots filled with dirt in the house so the news crew was able to film it with permission from the guys family the next day.

And then they made a big stink about how there was a nursery in the next room over from the dangerous toxic plants and all the dangerous fumes, hmmm I thought oxygen was needed to live and not dangerous and marijuana is non-toxic.

Then they carried on about how evil this man and his wife were for subjecting their kids to all this and the public. lol

Fucking news pissed me off. I almost called em asking why they do not report the truth and to go camp outside a pill mill for some real crime, which is allowed by law by the way.

Well my grow season is over so I have nothing to worry about at least. Waiting for the summer to end to grow some nice strains I have lined up.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic." Dresden James.

Fortunately for us, we're very slowly gaining ground with the public due to MMJ, but as Mr. James said, there are those that will never shut their mouths or open their eyes, ears or minds.

Don't forget, that unless the Federal Government shifts it's position, we are, have been and will continue to be at War. Nixon never did declare war on Vietnam, he did however declare War on American citizens with the declaration of The War on Drugs. They declared war, they act as aggressor when we have never taken the war to them, and they don't conform to the articles of war according to the Geneva Convention. What our government has done for the last 80 years and is continuing to do is attack, kill and detain it's own people while circumvented international law.

All because the stock margins on cotton would have gone to hell had hemp continued to be in production in the 1920's and 30's. Delivered by a crusade run by a sexist, racist, propaganda expert. It makes me really sad to live in a country where people from my great grandparents to my peers of today have been so gullible and controllable.
