Then there's the matter of all this negativity...
i can't say i know you very well, though this journal is quite long i'm pretty sure i can count the number of posts between both you and your partner in it on two hands and no feet... so i really don't understand where you are coming from.
Did FDD do something to you personally that you are willing to attack him like this ? Those are some pretty harsh words you used. And is TLD a friend to you in the real world that you are so ready to defend his paladin-like nature ?
Secondly, since getting banned, TLD has achieved seemingly angelic status. While personally, in posts, I have seen him be insensitive. I have seen his ego come through glaringly. I have seen him try to shit on one of FDD's threads... and then FDD returned the favor and started shitting on TLD's threads. Neither of them are perfect. Both have egos. Both were / are capable of being assholes. But, personally, i think they both happen to be decent and likeable people. Sometimes people just have a personality conflict and cannot get along. I've met people that have a personality conflict with myself and do not like me... while i don't personally have anything negative to say about them accept that they have chosen to dislike me for some reason. While i believe FDD went over the line in shutting down his personal journal (hell, don't go there if what he is saying bothers you) ... most bans are temporary, at most. Also, FDD is just one of several moderators on this site.
I still feel that RIU is the best Marijunana site on the internet, even though one of my threads (Bare Neked People and Marijunana) was completely deleted and later replaced by a smut thread of porn having nothing to do with weed. I'm just not feeling all the drama.

I know for a fact, all TLD did in FDD's threads is say that FDD's character is nonconducive for TLD to participate in the thread any longer and that he was unsubscribing, and mention that some plants looked stretched. TLD went off on FDD once..... and then apologized for it later, readily admitted he was wrong. Never seen FDD do that with anyone.
Your right both have egos, and anyone is capable of being an asshole. And your right that there are plenty of other mods on here..... why then did no one else step in? Why does no one else ever step in when it comes to FDD?
Riz has had issues with FDD in the past...... involving censorship, and pettiness.
TLD's ban is not temporary. And I know that too many posts have been deleted over the course of the last two years for you to really have a good idea of what all went down between the two.
You also have no access to the private messages that were sent back and forth between the two over the last two years.
TLD knew he was leaving long before he did. He posted about it a few times. The reasons he is not here anymore have a lot less to do with FDD than you would think. But FDD was the one that banned him.
And as far as RIU being the best........
It depends on what your going for I suppose......
But if your personal security is one of the criteria..... RIU is one of the worst. Sucks that your thread got deleted.
TLD made his home here on RIU, he worked hard and put tons of time and energy into his threads, his posts, his journals etc. etc. He grew close to very many on the site, and didn't decide to leave lightly, or even in a split second either, it was not easy for him.....
When it comes down to it, TLD could have easily not gotten banned.
But in the END, it is our actions and our choices that shine through. Whether people are blind to the reasons behind them or not. But Maybe, through actions, some people will start to question.... maybe enough to find their own answers.
And just out of curiousity..... insensitive? how so?

What up people, all my old friends!! You probably thought I ran into some trouble or maybe got tired of the drama on here, but nah, i've just been extremely busy, doin my thing and all. Anyway, apologies all aroound.
Things are kickin with my grow, 'bout 3 weeks from harvest with round 2. Did a few things that should increase yield a little bit, moved Co2 burner to center of the room, built frames around each table for support, went from 30 in 10 gallon pots to 40 in 7 gallon pots, also using a few new supplements with the feeding this time.
They look bigger, stronger and healthier at this point than they did last time, so we'll see how it goes.
Here's a few pics (haven't taken many recently), and i'll try to get the newest video(it's over a month old though) posted on here.
So anyway, i'm still here, doin what i do, and i'll try to jump on here more regularly again.

Run the water to the IceCap first, then to the hydrogen. It'll flow when the controller opens the valve. You'll be amazed how much more stable the tmp's will stay.
Warm up the room a bit during veg next round. Try it for a couple days and you'll see what I mean. Run at 85-90 for a couple days and compare the growth pattern.
Still sub'd (from MANY pages ago) and enjoying all the updates and vids!

Sup #1 fan! Yeah, frames are already paying dividends. By this point last time, plants were leaning every which way, falling away from the light, takin the headies to the edge of the light. Now they can't go anywhere, just sit there and get fat!! And this round, we went with 7 gallon Smart Pots, 4 per tray, seems to fill out the tray space much better.

I think i still have dirt under my fingernails from last year!! Yeah, i don't know if I'm venturing out this year or not. Had shoulder surgery in Dec., still kinda recovering from that, so i don't know. Did all last year's with torn tendons 'n shit, very painful haulin water 'n what not, and I don't NEED to at this point, so i might just take it easy this year, maybe live vicariously through your grow!! hahaha, yeah!

There's a number of things that i want to do still for the room, and workin out the heat is definately one of 'em, especially with summer comin. Fundage is the limiting factor, but each round, x amount of $'s are allocated for upgrades, so we'll see what we can spring for after this one.
Maybe the Icecap, or some Iceboxes and a big res and chiller, also probably a couple more Max fans at the other end of the hood ducting, also probably a split unit A/C. It's all about money though, know what I'm sayin bro?

Been awhile since I checked this thread...I watched the video and am curious..you have the co2 pumping in the room but your temps are way below what they need to be at for co2 to be processed fully as your ambient air temp needs be no less then 80-85 F for co2 usage to be utilized so it looked like you had the room set to like 72 with lights on which means your co2 is basically in effective did I read the temps wrong or do you have the temps in the 80s? Also I saw you have the a/c vented out of the room and down low. Co2 is is heavier then air so it falls to the floor where you have ytour a/c units which then gets suckked right out of the room so all the co2 is constantly being removed. Co2 being heavier should be dropped from above the plants with fans near the floor blowing the lower air straight back up and your a/c units should be up higher so the cold air falls cooling the room more efficeitn whil the unit grabs the hot air that has risen higher out of the room with as little wasted co2 as possible...Got a lot of cool stuff but would be great to see you maximize your area as looks like what 4 to 60 plants per table and looks like no trimming or thinning of the lower stuff so lots of valuable space wasted and hurts the yield by not thinning the lower mess. Maybe next round we will see the space used more to its potential...How much was the hydro gens

Damn Fletch, at first I thought you were bustin balls. However this short little post has alot of great advice in it. I appreciate the idea on venting the ac out of the top of the room, as I am in the process of setting up a new room with CO2. I have read that the optimal temp for Co2 is 82-85 deg.
