TRUMP INDICTED

Hi all, I’ve been absent a few weeks and have just logged in and found interest in this thread and the opinions of its posters, with all respect I would like to join and convey my thoughts.

My intake is that there are numerous anti-Trump as well as pro-Trump disciples here in the US, and most of these folks are products of the ideological echo chambers they have been brought up and exist in; they genuinely do not expect anyone to disagree with their beliefs because they see their actions as evidence to being on the right side of history. These thoughts and belief’s are not new; they go back to the days of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

The left (anti-Trump) tends to be more arrogant in assuming they are accurate and no debate or argument is needed. That is why they often want to shut down any counter agreement to their ideology with malice rather than convince their opposition with proof as to why they are correct.

Over the past three years America has entered a truly terrifying downward spiral; economically and what’s worst is losing our 1st and 2nd amendment. Now think about this, wealth in the US is concentrated in big cities, on both the East and West coast. As a result, some of the biggest players in the business world tend to be Democrats by default.

Then there Chamath Palihapitiya, a west coast Democrat and billionaire who only a few months ago called Trump “an idiot savant, minus the savant”, is now praising him.

But now, that billionaire Democrat is sounding the alarm over the massive danger associated with “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

As war spreads from Eastern Europe to the Middle East, the founder and CEO of Social Capital, Chamath Palihapitiya, says Donald Trump’s ability to maintain global peace looks “pretty incredible” in indsight. But now as it becomes increasingly clear how quickly the world is falling apart with Joe Biden at the helm, the investor is changing his tune.

“What those guys did was pretty incredible, in hindsight,” Palihapitiya said, referring to the former Republican President’s administration during an appearance on the All-In Podcast.

Podcast host Jason Calacanis, also a tech investor, agreed saying he’s “no fan of Trump” but admitting, “It’s a miracle, actually, when you look at it, what they did.”

“So much of the work that happened in that administration turns out to have been right,” Calacanis added. “And that’s what’s so frustrating for me. The work on the border wall, we didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message. Turned out it was right,” Palihapitiya noted.

“When are we going to stop shooting ourselves in the foot?” Palihapitiya asked. “And when are we going to actually see and take the time to look past who is saying things and actually listen to them, word-for-word?”

The two then even went as far as admitting that Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, “is incredibly thoughtful and incredibly competent.”

They didn’t mention the contrast between Kushner and Hunter Biden’s outrageous antics, but it’s becoming clear some high-profile Democrats are experiencing massive levels of buyer’s remorse as they face yet another Presidential election with Joe Biden on the ballot.

And based on Palihapitiya’s comments it seems even some Democrats are secretly pining for someone to “Make America Great Again.” I being one of them, who was bred and raised a Democrate.

91 criminal indictments and daily insanity posted online, echoing Hitler and he is being sued by NY for tax cheating that might clean him out. You can still send him money though, if you believe in his cause, whatever that is. Facts are stubborn things as John Adams said, one of those guys who helped write the constitution, the one Trump is publicly vowing to destroy. I could post his recent quotes, but others have already.

"we all know he did it!!!"
Speaking of, here's Gym Jordan a few days ago:
-- "I believe we will get the depositions and the interviews done in this calendar year and then make a decision early next year whether there are actual evidence warrants going to articles of impeachment and moving to that stage of the investigation," Jordan replied. --

Does this sound like someone who has cold hard evidence *now* or someone still beating around the bush trying to find something, *anything*, to support his pet theory and keep his base riled up?

Judge rules Trump can stay on Michigan ballot, rejects insurrection clause challenge
A Michigan judge ruled former President Trump can remain on the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot, rejecting an attempt to remove him with a Civil War-era Constitutional clause.

Michigan Court of Claims Judge James Redford rejected arguments made by activist groups that claimed Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the U.S. Capitol meant he was ineligible for the presidency.

Similar lawsuits have popped up in Colorado and Minnesota. The challenge in Minnesota was dismissed by the state Supreme Court last week, with justices arguing that the primary process is an internal party election and does not place the candidate on the general ballot or as president of the United States. There is no state statute that prohibits a political party from placing a nomination on the ballot, they ruled.

The Colorado case is expected to have its closing arguments Wednesday and the judge is expected to make her decision by Friday.

In Michigan, Redford wrote that because Trump followed state law by qualifying for the primary ballot, he can’t be removed, The Associated Press reported.

It should be up to Congress to decide whether Trump can be disqualified, the judge argued.

Congress could decide if a person is disqualified under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which states no person who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the government can run for elected office.

Deciding if an event is deemed a “rebellion or insurrection or whether or not someone participated in it” is best left to Congress and not “one single judicial officer,” Redford said.

One judge can’t “embody the represented qualified of every citizen of the nation” the same way that the House of Representatives and the Senate do.

According to the AP, Free Speech for People, the group that filed the suits, is going to immediately appeal the decision.

Of course one person can. That is how it gets appealed up to the Supreme Court.

When did Trump vow to destroy the Constitution? No offense, but you're spreading untruths. Trump never said that. And I have to wonder, with all these charges, how come none of them stick? Is Trump an actual deity, or is it becoming obvious that none of the charges have merit? Then of course, there's still the question of motives by those bringing "trumped-up" charges to destroy Trump. What is motivating his political opponents?

How would he arrest all the people he is vowing to jail if he is elected without breaking the constitution? He publicly stated on video he would suspend the constitution and they have a team working on a plan to do it by invoking the insurrection act on day one. Don't you know a dictator when you see one? Or is it he will get "them" not me!

Trump has been indicted 91 times and is in the process of due process with his first trial date in DC on Mar 4th, get popcorn.

If Trump is a deity, he is one of the Devil's, more likely a sociopath with a low operational intelligence. How someone can think this guy is their only source of truth and light says a lot about them.

Trump hits New York AG for ‘smirking all day long’ amid fraud trial
Former President Trump lashed out at New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) on Tuesday for “smirking all day long” from across the courtroom as his legal team mounts its defense in the civil fraud case targeting his business empire.

“Racist A.G. Letitia James is smirking all day long from her seat in Court,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

“You have a (Trump Hating!) Attorney General who’s seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages when not a single penny was lost by these banks, and that’s part of this (Unconstitutional!) Law,” he said, adding, “You can see from the reaction of A.G. James, every morning from that seat, that she is enjoying this, enjoying it a bit too much.”

During the trial, Trump has reportedly appeared visibly irked at James, who rested her case Wednesday. Trump has long attacked James for what he has described as unfairly targeting him for politically motivated purposes.

An uphill battle faces Trump’s lawyers as they take their turn making a case; Judge Arthur Engoron found the Trump Organization and its executives liable for fraud before the trial even began. A New York appeals court paused the decision to strip Trump’s business licenses until after Trump’s case is heard.

The civil trial is separate from Trump’s four other criminal indictments he faces, two of which are related to his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Another centers on his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House, and another relates to his alleged efforts to conceal hush money payments ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

I missed the other trials where Trump got off. Could you refresh my memory? Hp telling untruths? He just describes events in an alternative reality.

Of course, she is smiling, these clowns are taking the stand under oath in their own defense and there are criminal indictments coming over this when the civil part is finished. You don't do this kind of shit without committing crimes like bank and tax fraud, criminal conspiracy etc. I believe to avoid legal complications in NY she needs to wait until the civil trial is concluded before bringing criminal charges.

He called for "...the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution." That is the motivation of his opponents. Duh.

He's always got twitter for as Elon owns it and will be proxy posting on it from prison as the would-be dictator dictates tweets to maga republican house members on visiting day. I hope they have to talk via phone through glass and all prison conversations, except with legal counsel, are recorded. Another business bites the dust along with his company, just grifting off his base of suckers is left and that is taking the small donor money away from GOP house candidates.

Republican Senator tries to FIGHT WITNESS during Senate hearing

BREAKING: Donald Trump is publicly humiliated as a new filing reveals that his social media website Truth Social has racked up a jaw-dropping $73 million loss since it launched in 2022.

But it gets even worse…

Stunningly, the company hit only $1.4 million in net sales in its first year and $2.3 million in the first half of this year.

The terrible news proves once again that Donald Trump is an awful businessman despite the character he played on The Apprentice.

The information was revealed in a filing by the SPAC Digital World Acquisition Corp which is planning to merge with Truth Social’s parent firm TMTG.

The filing even points out that the pathetic numbers create substantial doubt about TMTG’s ability to continue operating.

Just like everything else Trump touches, Truth Social is dying.
Cue Republican apologists claiming this is all due to woke investors and free speech violations.
