it may have evolved into that, but i think the whole thing started from him being stupid and stubborn, and his followers being the same way. without thinking, without any fact checking, it occurred to trump to say something about building a wall, and his idiot supporters liked the idea, so he kept repeating it...and now he's stuck with it....and it probably has started to represent the "trump presidential legacy" to him...even though there was never a real plan, even though it's a bad idea thought of at the moment, with no preparation, no research, no idea how to actually achieve it...it's the perfect symbol of the trump presidency, come to think of it...
maybe we should let him build it, and name it the donald trump memorial wall...so that future generations could take trips to the desert, to see the useless wall that a mad president built to keep people out of our country. people could obviously walk around it, climb over it, dig under it, go through the actual check points then just not return...a wall built by an ego-maniacal racist, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, lying, traitorous president, that the stupider portion of our country defended to the end...It would help teach them exactly what they're up against, and how hard they have to work to keep fucking fools out of the whitehouse in the future....
