Worth mentioning here, saw some chat 'bout ebay citizen suppliers, 5 x 1212's for 50 quid looked reasonable, till I found a bunch of listings for the same units on alibaba for $2 each, seeing as digikey is asking over 20 quid a cob, I'd be very suspicious of the ebay/ali listings.
That Estonian seller on ebay is a legit guy. The Alibaba prices are not the real price. Its just the way the Chinese work, but they still have good prices on ali.
Primelight as I mentioned above sell the same citi 1212s for the same as the Estonian ebay guy, actually a bit cheaper, £8 ish but the beauty of the Estonian is he sells in 5x where a PrimelightUK prefer to sell in trays of 20x although can sell less but costs more per chip. But they have the full range of citi chips.

They are pretty shit at updating the website, not even sure if they have the heat sink section up yet and they have been available for last 6 month.
If I remember right last time I got a price list off them they had gen 6. Just email Clair if you need a decent amount.

So I've decided to hang them 2 COBS either side of my GOD 4 so I'm hitting the 40w per sq ft as I like to have the high end of the limits, the plants didn't have a full cycle and mostly had 5-6 wks under LED, and I am sold guy's my temps are 80 humidity never over 60 , the trichome production is unbelievable and thought it was a gimmick when I heard it's increased as much as 5% but it actually looks like it has, I'm using subcools mix and biobizz nutrients this is also a huge money saver, From£1500 per year to 600 a my monthly measures are now 50 a month time to COB out my veg room now

My HPS 600w 6inch fan in filter heating in the nights 2 clip fans running on full speed 24/7, Now it's 300w LED 6 inch fan and filter running on number 2 clip fans running half speed no need for heat yet 79 day 69 night, it's a revelation this LED lighting is everyone was trying to to tell me I'm mad spending the money for a GOD 4 but at This rate it pays for itself in nearly a year and the psychosis that I have been growing since 2012 it's the biggest I've seen them grow and the critical mass is the same, I've had people say go back to hps use my GOD for my veg room! Save More money wtf!, I am not spending 800 for a veg light and it wouldn't save me anything going backwards, that was obviously said with a hint of jealousy looking back or sabotage lol

Was just checking, I assumed you were talking electricity but the way it read thought you may have been spending that on nutrients, which would be mental. So I thought id ask.
I'm not sure what I'm saving, but I went from 3x600w HPS to around 1200 of cob and QBs. My yields have increased by 50% ish on top of any savings.
Yeah the COBs work well! :fire:

No bro I wised up to the nutes game, I Just buy a reputable trialed and tested biobizz fish mix bloom top Max and I use rhizotonic as that stuff is expensive but it works And a litre lasts me over a year, I've only just got the 2 COBS, them pic's you see are Just 5 weeks under 190w of MY GOD 4 light,i bought the Extra to bump up to 40 odd watts per sq ft piece of mind, exciting times ahead, it's amazing how less N is needed stay healthy green

Anybody know of a UK supplier of Pin Heatsinks which will cool the Vero 29s driven at 50watts? Don't fancy the shipping cost of 144 x 140mm heatsinks from RapidLED or similar from the US...be quite a bit of weight.

Hello Jack, I want to build 12 lights encorporating 12 x Vero29s for 600w in each light. I don't fancy sourcing the 140mm heatsinks from the US though, it's a lot of weight. Do you know of a UK supplier of heatsinks that'll do the job?

China is easy to deal with if you are bulk buying ,you can have them from order to your door in 2 weeks.
I can pm you my supplier if you need save having to dig through alibaba. I use 125mm square splayed for veros. £14 each on a box of 20 roughly.

Yes send me a link to the ones you use, cheers. I'm browsing Alibaba now, first 140mm pin heatsink supplier i came across was $10 a piece, beats RapidLED's $19. Looks exactly the same, will have to delve further.

I use these; http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/heatsinks/8805960/ @£30(ish) each. However for that many you will be over the £250 min order of their suppliers, I've got their contact details here someplace I'll dig you it out when I get 5 mins, its round here someplace.

Ignore the prices on there they arent the real prices, plus they add p&p and paypal charges which can be more than the items themselfs the number i gave is landed to your door in pounds, it may be slightly different depending how many you buy.

Remember when ordering from outside the EU your paying tax on or before delivery but also remember china is flexible place and VAT is based on the "price on the invoice" wink wink..
