The Truth About Flushing

You will like this one chem.

Fox farms feeding schedule says to flush with their flushing agent once per week and at the end.

And you better if you follow the amounts and frequency they direct.

But the Botanicare directions on kind trio and pure Blend Pro work wonderfully.

At 33-50% strength though. 100% for high light and co2 maybe. Or growing tomatoes. Lol.

But it shows a build up and taper off to ripening.

ok, dig this "quality feeding chart system"

so Fox Farms is automatically disqualified from my challenge abovebongsmilie

and a very good find with the percentages kudos for the mention. the stuff is really hot I find and share your findings.
I mix at 25% and only give 1 cup of this mix to my section of girls bi weekly. not sure if its the win or worth it yet though.
i love my organicare alone so might not need this mostly full 20 gallon jug much longer.

well, i guess you think dyna gro and GH aren't quality nutes cause they both recommend flushing at the end.

actually you are correct sir, I put them both in the same bucket of beginner fodder. they work just fine and dandy though and do they define what a flush is? I use water only for two weeks in my pro mix buckets yet I see undissolved compost chicken shit ferts on the soil top still and my run off is not much weaker than it was threes prior. is that a flush? I dont consider it so
read ops post, alcoholic fermentation, why would dyna grow or fox farms buy into this? quality education? sales of flushing agents(weak nutrients?)? I dunno , making an anaerobic situation in soil is never good, killing bene's is not good, starving plants in their last days in hydro is not good, what is flushing anyways? lol

@MichiganMedGrower

ever sit with a new person/grower, trade joints....and just stare at each other while feeling? getting to know the others' habits, personality, etc? sometimes it just clicks sometimes it doesnt?
I've never had it click with that flame tattoo face guy...but have plenty of others....

Sad to say after trying to meet growers here in Michigan but I haven't met any that I have clicked with. Or that had any great pot.

Once I got great weed from a dispensary. But not a second time.

Might be different on the east side of the state but after the requests from Colorado for my little gardens product I highly doubt it is much different than the rest of this legal weed strain of the week crap. And supposedly elite clone only gems. Which have all been average to me so far. Especially blue Dream.

I lost my old caregivers in the dust my first Grow and never looked back.

I would love to actually share something really good with a grower I got along with. I would love to get something different and good from one I didn't get along with. Lol.

Not sure who flame tattoo face is.

With the talk of UV please know that "most" bulbs are useless. All one needs to do to see this is to get a UV meter. MMG sayin that his CMH has it is true but it is not enough to do anything in the garden and though he'll argue bout it, the truth is the difference he reports is due to the blue spectrum in the CMH bulb.

Oh and I actually have a thread on UV (that you guys could go troll) that is full of info

The beauty of my T5 setup is being able to tweak the spectrum easily and learn things, things that commercial growers are now usin to up their game, but what do I know LOL

I have already posted on your site and here the university of Utah telling you different.

But you just keep on repeating your opinion with no real results to go on. They have actual data and a horticulture lab.

You have an open basement and some aquarium lights.

dont' shoot the messenger. just putting it out there that many professional nute lines recommend flush.
A) do those "many" also market a flushing bottle?
B) do you know what a flush is?
C) does anyone ever define it here?
D) soil, peat, hydro, organic, bottled chelators.....pretty sure all of these are relevant considerations that must be defined in relation to flushing for proper discussion and comparison?

You mean the one that shows T5's have more UV than CMH and that CMH has 50% more blue than HPS LOL

You truly do entertain me

A. dyna gro does not
B. 5 cards of the same suit
C. i'm sure somebody has by this point
D. dyna gro says flush hydro for 1 week, soil for 2.

I never made any claim that cmh had more uv.

I told you that they found that 50% blue is the most needed for best results. And that your ratio is wrong and creates buds that are way too leafy and small.

And you just show a chart rather than the actual article pretending it defends a point only you are defending. Lol.

I lost 30% yield and no quality gain trying your ratio of Blue to red. And fluffy lowers with the out of balance spectrum missing the important reds for bud production.

You just constantly lie, advertise and manipulate for your agenda. Your agenda to get everyone to believe you are better.

I am selling nothing. You are selling only. And now everyone knows that up front.

From my experience with running UV, It comes down to the ability of uv supplementation to help the trichs mature faster,

Although I'm in the state south of you, I'd gladly partake in burning with you anytime.

No it does not. not enough to compete with any other horticultural light source I have researched.

And you should stop pre disposing of people's comments before you know what they know.

And if you like we can get into the fact that plants transfer photosynthesis to the strongest wavelength and that is why hps gives more growth regardless of spectrum.

T-5 are weak all the way across the board.

If we are talking aquarium bulbs designed to penetrate water and grow reef. That has nothing to do with lighting a Grow room. It is specific to its purpose. Silly to pretend it works better. Or real horticultural long standing businesses would use them. Of course they use hid and now some led.

Hang up some fluorescent fixtures across a Greenhouse ceiling and see what you get on a cloudy day.

Plenty of light for humans to see but you might have well turned on the cfl's in your kitchen as far as plant growth is concerned.

They have to be ridiculously close for best results.
It works with my light meter! THAT'S what "I" know!

Is it enough to make me change to T5? NO!

It works in the way some employ it. Just fine!

To me, and you. It is not a viable choice for our end result.....

Lets not get into a pissing match like the one you've got already...I have nothing to say about that one! It's not my business...It'll annoy both of us., and it's not worth it...

not saying you are wrong, but i was under the impression that trichs are the plant's response to the UV as a sort of "sunscreen"
