Platinum LED

Haha.

Do you own one?
No, i own a optic and a diy. I know dozens of the 420 guys who use them. I know they were banned from 420. I know that their claims are demonstrably false. I know that the quality of their gear is low import, re-branded level. the science of physics tells me that they are plain liars selling a product that is not remotely near the top of the LED mkt.

No beef whatsoever with you getting good results from your light. But it's not a "great light". Not even close.

Far better par due to secondary lensing. all the brand is. i know it and i like it. i dont like mars because they for one are fucking epistars which burn out due to room humidity at the minimum. i dont see any angry platinum owners. just people that want to shovel shit on their claims. ive par tested myself. it is brighter.

Lets see your light bring out reds like that.

" bring out reds like that" has zero to do with being a "great light"

My light is also about 600w it produces about 2x the par of a pled 600. Before you get you panties knotted learn more about light, par, ppfd, efficiency and platinum's appalling record of lying, deceiving and swiping another company's name brand. Pled is a common eshine lamp re-branded. It definitely grows flowers. But it's nothing like a "great light"

And i dont care what company let some company take over their market. maybe eshine should have patented or sued if platinum really stole their product out of their r&d lab.

Unless eshine went out by themselves and platinum got their manufacturer who the fuck cared what it used to be. i just got bought out by another company, you know what changed? everything.

The red in my plants came from a nutrient deficiency only showing in my plants solely under my platinum. so, more spectrum, better nutrient uptake, better light.

Dude no need for a meltdown.
Yes ~585 at the wall. Eshine makes lights for all manner of shysters. Dont get upset just learn some stuff. I was once a zealous defender of mars hydro, my first light.

It's not a debate bud, there is no comparison in performance between say a PLC, or any meanwell/ cree, vero, citizen combo and a Pled lamp.

The best lamps cost more.

Obviously your going to be 2x as bright as a 350 watt from the wall pled, sucking 585 from the wall running diy....
thing is, your light is called a 600 w right? It's not close to 600w right?

Not only does my light use ~600w it uses them 2x as efficiently. So maybe i was wrong my light is 4x more PAR

I understand the science behind 3w diodes and 50w cree diodes. but you cant find a manufacturer that will sell you a 600w array of only cree cxbs. you need to diy. so you obviously have more light compared to a p600. thats not the discussion. compared to price and umol. find a light thats actually put together price to umol.

My light is a p600, it takes 350 watts from the wall and outshines 800w of hid. your cree array takes 600 watts from the wall. you are basically saying that v8 over there has more power than this v6 here. pointless

I expect 1200w of hid/ umol equivalence out of your array. great. diy isnt a "light" its a home project. we are talking about manufacturers. and what you can buy put together and that has a warranty.
