I use MG's Nature's Care line, as some of you know. This is probably the only line I consider fully acceptable for Cannabis under the Scotts/MG flag. I use it to great effect.

Your going to see alot more Larry Brooke veterans of the industry cash out and fly off in the sunset in the coming years. Writing is on the wall. I know i would. Brooke did good fro himself. Started GH in a garage back in the seventies. Alot of these old timers started up in garages and pole barns in the woods of nor cal and pacific northwest. Big page ads in High Times in the eighties...boom. Off and running. Such a different game now. It was truly the Wild West back then. The dope...the seeds...the technology... the methods...the science...all of it.

Oh btw...advanced nutes are just fine. Overpriced yeah....like the rest. Why growers get so caught up in nutrient brands these days is beyond me. Ive tried them all....and if you know what the hell your doing and how to use them...there all the frikin same pretty much.

Any good line of.popular brands can and will do that if you have the rite strain and your room environment is dialed perfectly. Talk to any real pro that runs a real room and see how much attention the pay on nutrient brands...its not much. Nutrients are far lowmon the list of important factors that give bumper harvests with superb quality. Its the genetics and the ability to control the photoperiod...temperature...relative humidity..and carbon dioxide levels when growing. Real.control too. Like dialing co2 temp and humidity numbers very accurately. Managing the canopy too. Nutrients and additives play a much smaller role than all the other factors. Just have to provide them in the rite proportions when plants need them. Its alot harder than most think. Controlling room environment regardless of outside conditions. Expensive too. But with the rite strain this is the real key to pulling down 2 and 3 pound harvests of top quality buds every 1000 watts of normal hid lighting. Some may hit those weights occasionally. ..most cant do it consistently.

Advanced Nutrients still seem to be using very high end ingredients and as far as I am concerned they are the best on earth because of their attention to detail on sources. Why don't I use them? Because I grow marijuana which is a weed and I can just veg extra plants using the same lights for the same yield.

Dont fall for that marketing crap about manufacturing brands using higher quality pharmaceutical or fooe grade or industrial grade salts. For the most part ots bullshit. It doesntale that big of a difference as far as the cannabis. Plant is concerned.

Adv nutes amongst other brands spend way more much money on marketing and advertising than actual r & d research. Believe that. The truth is thats there is truly not much going on as far as revolutionary game changing methods and techniques as far as plant nutrient science os concerned. Plant nutrient and additive formulations havent changed much in tje past 25 years. What we use and what has been common knonwledge in the general ag and greenhouse industry hasnt changed much. And plant nutrient chemistry in a plant chemists eyes is very very basic stuff. Where the real technological breakthroughs are happening os with LED lighting and dna sequencing. Mapping the genome. And i beem around awhile now. As far as products in our industry....the real game changers has been inline duct fans....charcoal filters...co2 ppm sniffers (when they became affordable) double ended hps lamps..CMH...aNd COB LED lighting...auto flowers. The nutrients and additives....thats nothing new really. Stuff greenhouse big ag non cannabis growers have known fer years.

Still good? They never were good. Such BS marketing claims. You're buying lots of water and minor amounts of chemical nutes.

Advanced nutrients are very very effective nutrients for growing cannabis. Just beacuse they have a bad rap and are overpriced doesnt mean its junk. Cmon. There gear is bad ass. Good stuff. I would never buy it ciz the same shit can be had for much. Cheaper. But to wrote thier products off as crap is crap statements.

Look at it this way....all the brands work. There all very similar. So why not go for tue least expensive ones? You guys are so trendy with your brands and loyalty. Its frikin silly.

Most of u dont know about the science behind grpwing. You only been growing dope for not that long. So you try something...you fukt it up...so u blame it on tje nutes. Then u finally learn how to pull off something smokable and yet again..blame it on the nutes. It was never the nutes to begin with. ...you just got some experience under yer belt.

Yep I grow with whatever is cheapest. Run an connoisseur, sensi, botanicare pure blend, Alaska ff, fox farm, dyna grow, age old, roots organics and now gh. They all work. Negligible difference in yield or potency. I just grab whatever's cheapest these days.

Their ph up and down are hella potent.

My 'friend' uses them
Look into what real ag companys pay for pH adjusters. The same manufacturing places they buy there shit (with colored dye they add for us) from. The mark up fpr GH pH down is like 1200%.

Don't they charge like $12 for a set of ph up, ph down, and ph calibration bases? If that's a 1200% markup, who gives a shit lol. If you can't afford the $10-40 it costs for a base set of Nutes, you probably shouldn't be growing. And you definitely shouldn't be running systems that require ph up and down lol.

I buy it...no doubt. I pay cuz its easy. But Larry Brooke literally skated off in the sunset by playing on our ignorance and more importantly the false cannabis market we all played off of from cannabis blackarket illegality. But times are a changing. Its no longer 3- 4500$ a unit. We didnt mind paying 20 something bucks for simple phos acid a jug. But cost os starting to play into it now. Writing is on the wall now. The very reason old industry vets are cashing out
