I feel the same about the summer and fall. My prediction is it will stay warmer longer but doesn't matter because the days will still be as long as they always are

last year was my worse in many years, lost at least 50%to rot an that was before mid sept.dont mater what strain ya run,2 weeks no sun 85% hum.every time I checked plots last year,it felt like I got kicked right in the balls.got few more tricks this year, hate the cem's but gotta live:bigjoint:
Real soon I will see the reminder of that shit from last season.the remnants of what got cut and dropped.was bad,24 hours from a few buds to whole plants.would have lost everything if I didn't have some good genetics to start with.

I've been reading for hours and keeping going back n forth so I Quick question for you guys:
I have 3-4 weeks from germ till I have to move them and trying to keep the space I use limited. I plan to paper towel germ and place them in a container, sprinkle soil over, keep it moist and allow it to grow for 4 weeks in that soil/container using the sunlight through my glass patio door and possibly add some CFL lights if it's necessary. By that time I should be able to transplant to outdoors.
I cant decide on container size, will solo-cups be big enough for 3 weeks or 4" square containers do the trick?
Also, for soil- do you think using a seedling pre-mix soil will work using my methods or fill the bottom 2/3's with the pre-mixed light seedling mix and then top 1/3 with straight peralite and sand?
thanks a bunch

Also, do you guys think I'll need to add a LED or CFL light setup above my seedlings. They'll be sitting facing a large glass door SE direction. Sunlight is 13hr 40min in beginning of germ stage and by may will be at 14hr according to a site I looked the times up on.

thanks for the help guys. Stopped into the hydroponic store and the guy has a single t5 stand on sale next week for $27 and decided to just got with some smaller grow bags. Plus it's nice to see fox farm and roots organics products out here in the east cost. I thought it was only available out west.
