its getting kind of late to be fooling with crossing,for this year.maybe future?igot allmy males pulled,its time to make couple hundred babys girls now.are u forced to put males out an cull as u go?

you got that right,i already lost one spot this year,time to put the hiking boots on,i think iam going to dig a few holes this year,i havnt dug a whole in the bush in over 10 years,try to run some of that snow bud,dont dare to run it in a swamp.nice weather ah:bigjoint:

hey u reading my mine,got some nice new clear cuts to check out,high an dry just gotta fine few spring holes,i refuse to carry buckets of water more than fifty ft,water is number 1 for me sun number2.gotta go ckeck generator talking 50+winds latergoing to be fucking cold,after the nice weather we have had,this is going to hurt,crazy weather,:bigjoint:smoking freash bubble gum helps:lol:

Winter just won't end here, 2" snow here yesterday.. I've got cabin fever n itching to get out n dig some holes..I've got 150 gallons of used ffof that's been sitting outside in garbage cans just waiting to be put in the ground.

I looked at pumps,cant seem to find one that has lift seems 10-15ft they don't work well? I like mountin spring holes no. standing water but cattails growing ic that on side on hill I smile.dig in 6 in plop 10 gai bag in it with bottem cut out,plant checkem once a month to top dress,no water needed.those are hard to find.but if u can turn me on to a pump that really works.that would be killer:bigjoint:

I tried a few different ones that didn't work,finally ended up using high flow bilge pump from a boat I wired with clips for tractor battery.moves water thru over 250 ft of hose

My buddy and I have already discussed rigging up a backpack with a pump and battery. We grow near creeks anyway, on the downslope side of agricultural fields and will leave hoses ran and hidden at each plot.

Btw, most pumps will pump water a long way horizontally as you probably know, it's the total lift vertically that can be the challenge. You can only "pull" water vertically something like 28 or 30 feet in a perfect vacuum, but you can "push" it a hell of a lot further, the way well pumps work.

What pump do you use?im in the market for one myself.Also will the battery last the season or will it need to be recharged.
