Again, I don't know if it's illegal to participate in a protest while open carrying. I would bet in Texas the right to open carry doesn't cease just because you're also carrying a placard. However, I don't need evidence as open carry laws don't discriminate based on religion. As long as they are the required distance from the structure, why wouldn't they be allowed?
