i used the last 4 cu ft of my chunky perlite over the weekend and picked up a 50 lb bale of this stuff.

It cost a little more, but the poor lady who runs the nursery I visit had pallets of the stuff same as months ago. Figured I'd help her out.

Yep. I live less that two hours from Stuttgart, Arkansas, where these are made, so I'm sure that's why she pushes these in her organic section over the perlite. Anyway, Stuttgart is the duck hunting capital of the world -- been a couple times -- and one big river bottom surrounded by rice paddies. It's close enough she considers it locally sourced.

Thanks for reminding me of this smidge. Got to get on sourcing myself some rice hulls. Should be easy enough in Nam eh ;)
I'm loving them so far man. Very little dust and I love the way they seem to fit in seemlessly with the peat and castings. The texture it gives my soil mix is incredible.

Here's a Critical Sensi Star cola in week 8 just covered in copious resin. Even the fans are frosted!!
Love this shot! Great job.
@DonTesla this shot reminds me of the infamous "One Gallon Run" with the purple in the background. Picture wise that was the prettiest run ever. Hard to beat. Got some great shots from that run...the original Gravy Trains and the Ace Querkles...oh my.
