Feds: Banks Should Call Police if Customer Withdraws More Than $5k in Cash

No need to call everytime.

The point of having programs like these is PSYCHOLOGICAL control over a population. It' in lots of their programs and very effective. It worked well in Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia and now here. Why should anybody be surprised?

The slippery slope is well greased now, watch as it picks up speed on the way to the bottom.

.... the NSA watches and records every thing posted here. Say hello to the assholes, some of them are no doubt smoking dope on the job even as they collect a paycheck for spying on us.
let them, they can't imprison everyone. control freaks:finger:

They won't need to imprison everyone physically. Much of the imprisonment is in the head of the captive. That's the part most people are in denial over and they are very good at.

"Emancipate your mind" etc. - something Bob Marley said that I can't remember all of right now.

fail. i used to work for citibank and have filled out SAR's myself..can attest to the fact it was $10k.
You're right. but keep reading...

My point is that a transaction of $5k can be reported just the same as a transaction of $50k can be. You're not automatically okay if you are depositing $9,999 instead of $10,000. My wording may have been a bit obtuse.

I remember when the $10,000.00 reporting requirement was initially implemented...(early 1980's).
I was a Municipal Bond broker and had many clients who did not want the "Uncle" to know what they were doing.
It hurt my production then, as some of my clients stopped buying large blocks of bonds.
Some of these geezers would come to my office with over 100K in cash with which they would pay for their bonds
At the time I remember some of my clients saying that the Feds would not stop there.
They were correct.

Additional lubricication applied to the ol' slippery slope...thanks Obama!

the wealthy hide their money everywhere..it is the regular joe who gets to pick up the slack and pay 25-35% (or more) of their income.

it's not right that certain amercians benefit over others..guess what? we all take the same shit everyday.

the wealthy has the US in a headlock over money.. time to fix the code and pay-up suckers!

Municipal bonds benefit the States and small local governments which sell them to raise money for public improvement projects.
Discouraging the sales of them never made sense to me.

The "wealthy" already pay a disproportionately large share of total taxes.
Keep in mind that currently almost 50% of Americans pay no federal income taxes.
Should the "wealthy" pay even more? What percentage should they shoulder...60, 80 90, maybe 100% would make you happy?

This cannot, and will not end well.

True. But a transaction of $10K or more MUST be reported, there is no discretion allowed. Multiple deposits of less than $10K can be considered "structured transactions" and the feds can charge your money (not you) with a crime and confiscate your money. I can't believe such a practice is allowed, but it happens all the time.

ATF stands for "always think forfeiture". That is literally, no joke, how ATF trains their agents. The cops are just a bunch of gangbangers.

i'll defer to your clear expertise on how federal rattery works, especially since you're the guy who's always wishing federal prison on multiple growers on this forum, and rejoicing when growers are sent to federal prison, saying that they deserved to be "hoisted on their own petards".

you fucking rat.

awwwww, is the white supremacist who wishes federal prison time on growers and rejoices when they get it calling me a 'venom spewer' and unhappy?

that's just grand.

should i post the quotes where you wish federal prison time on members of this forum, and the accompanying quotes of you rejoicing when they are sent to federal prison?

It's almost like there's this central authority that runs everyones life for them.....nah....crazy talk. Sorry for bringing it up.

I will say that one of the next "wars" will be a "war on cash". The preliminary skirmishes have already begun and will continue to ramp up. Freedom and privacy scare the controllers.

There's no way it could all be digital. Every dollar would be accounted for. How's that gonna work out for the entire black market? They just not gonna shopping at warmart and everywhere else for that matter? They wouldn't have any money because their digital transactions would be found much sooner than later, so that makes them essentially broke in the very near future once the government seizes it all. They just gonna go sit in the corner? That's a very large, potentially dangerous group to be fucking with in such ways, especially all at once.

Money is not the only trade-able commodity. Probably not in our lifetime, but I can see clean water worth more than gold at some point if we don't change our evil ways. Sex is always going to be valuable.

I foresee central banks having even more power though, not less. They already trade in made up digital currencies.

Do druggies still use bank accounts ...I missed that I prefer to leave my excess with 'Saul' for at least as a retainer with interest..?

Its bullshit.

But seriously, who is carrying around that much cash? Many of the junker cars/trucks I have purchased over the years for a few grand I just took cash to the deal, but anything of any significance I met with the seller at their bank to do a transfer to protect us both.

Track the tiny amounts a cash, while allowing digital transactions to run wild in the millions/billions. 'Murica, fuck yeah.
I withdrawal amounts higher than that all the time .

I buy cd players & turn tables that cost more than $5,000 , that isnt that much money anymore , i shouldnt have to explain wtf im doin with my cash to no asshole cop .

I hope my bank calls the cops on me , i'll make a scene like they've never seen before & move every account to a credit union that day.

Well, emancipate yourself. His point is to stop living in fear. Listen to the song. Yet again you have snipped a quote out of context from a wise individual and perverted it into something else. You literally used a line from a song about not living in fear to make a point about living in fear.
