Never seen you troll. Perhaps you should branch out more. I recommend the organics or the Seeds and Strains review forum, almost like the led forums. Long toes, grand delusions, holier than thou attitude... good stuff.
He would fit real well, in Politics also.

Well, I got to prices on the FC opto chip.

And it looks to me to a viable approach to get get some high flux output from a single emitter. But, they have smaller emitter too.
They are much easier to cool, due to the new design. The next step I suppose would be to compare on of the other FCOs to a Cree

For example if we look at the A3590, 3000K
Bin: BD - 10,000 ,11,100 flux, at 85c and 25c. ( A bit more light at cooler temp. Only 10%. So, chasing Temp is not the way.)

72vF @ 1.2a = 86.4w

vs

3000K P25-12S2P-3080 80 cri, 2000ma 6820 lm/m 40.7vF

40.7vF @ 2000ma = 81.4w

I need to get the price for this one. But, it is a small emitter, only 19mm and case of 24mm

If you were to attach reflectors to your virtual emitters, then cover the opening of each reflector with a light absorbing film, you might shed more light than this thread does.

Soon and forever. The CXBs will take a few months to be generally available.

And there is no build plan yet, This is just a bait and switch troll hole, iac. :)
I figured this was a joke by the 3rd page and scrolled through the nonsense to see when you revealed yourself. NOBODY IS LAUGHING. The Joke is not funny unless the victim laughs too. This could be a funny thread -- there is a lot of opportunity to poke fun at each other but you come off as plain mean spirited. Suggest that this thread is moved to Toke n Talk, where it belongs.

Frankly speaking, you've wasted everybody's time, take satisfaction in that and let it go.

You know what there are quite a few of us that are laughing our asses off at YOU, and Chruchy, "postivitity" (that's a joke) and a couple of others.

You make this entire sub-section a joke. But, it is on you because you think insults matter.

They don't.

Most of us are laughing at you. I will waste all your time. What do I care?

The joke is that you think these petty insults matter to someone like me.

They don't. This kinda of stupid troll talk only matters to stupid trolls.

ALL OF US ARE LAUGHING AT THE TROLLS

So, the only ones not laughing are you idiot "victims"

I just had another idea last night. It is a hybrid. I was look at a Paper, Sat shared with me in private. (I think these stupid trolls have no idea how this is worked in private) There is stuff we won't put out here. Over the heads, etc.

IACs, this large commercial greehouse had water cooling with the COBs attached directly to the water pipe. Well, good idea. How can I get that?

Get 6 feet of this. (6063 is best for corrosion resistance) 1/4 inch thick 1.5 inches square ID. $55

2 x end plates $4.50

The end plate I will drill through and attach water fittings, 3/4"

On the bottom attach COBs, on the top attach the drivers.

Simple, small and elegant. I've done it before with a water tube light and it works fine.

This will not have two layers of glass and a 1/2" of water in front of the light.

I already have the 1/2 hp, sump pump and the reservoir, the no flow sensor, and the AC relay.
Now I can afford more COBS you guys. I can be more Kweeeeeeeeel.

20 COBs (can now get the Bs at the lowest minimum order.)

$1700 - 20 COBs x $85
$100 - upgrade flow to 3/4 inch lines.
$ 60 - sq tube and end caps
$550 - Drivers (already ordered, 4 COBs per dirver)

I'm wondering which COBs did you choose...

If we go by Supra's suggestion evolution, we see 75 cm^2 per watt of waste heat for passive cooling and 25 for active cooling. So, I will say 5 cm^2 for water cooling.

1.5 x 4 x 72" = 432 sq inches of inside perimeter (area under, not length of)

432 x 6.4516 = 2787.1 cm^2 / 5 = 557.5 watts. In business, boys.

1008w @ 70vF, 700ma

$2430 and 47% efficient? I didn't calc it yet
