I think the first part of this thread was mostly due to a breakdown in communication with a dash of troll. Once insults started to fly it turned into a fluster cluck.
I seem to be the only one that had fun? :) Fluster cluck is fun. :) Someone swooped in out of nowhere with vengeance about Cree jokes from another thread. He wrote a very heartwarming satire. That was fun...but I didn't read it.

Well, as much as I like the bathroom for a workshop I can't get the torque holding with my little suction cup vise. I am finally getting out of this hotel at the end of the month. I need to set up a bench vise, but this will work fine.

Hey! I didn't know RIU has mouse drag on photo uploading. Very cool.

Also a fun fact about RIU, you can reply to multiple comments within the structure of creating one response. People love it.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing this progress. Do you still have the blue masking tape stuck to the metal, as that stuff is harder to take off, the longer it is taped on, comes off real easy after just a few hours, but sticks like shit after a few days.

Good question answer no.

When I got the holders I realized I had the great opportunity to not drill in the water channel but to use the 1/4" sides to tap a hole in.

But this will make the COBs at 45 degrees, not square so a different tape mask concept will be needed.

Acetone is your friend...and so is a heat gun (my favourite method for softening adhesives).
Maybe not at the same time, however
