Mine is the clone only cut, and I always get early frost because of my light timings
Would be nice to be able to get clones. And what lighting cycle our you achieving this at ?
I always run 13 hours on for the first 3 weeks

I run what is called the gas lantern routine in veg,
12 on, 5.5 off, 1 on, 5.5 off,
also known as 12/1

in flower, i run 6.5 on, .5 off, 4 on, 13 off
which is basically a 10:30/13:30

I also have added UVB in my garden

IMO 13 on for flower is a huge mistake

Why is 13 hours a big mistake I find that between higher humidity and the extra hour of light helps with the stretch.
It doesn't seem to slow flowering time down. And my outdoor plants go into flower with anything less than 14

With the Gas light veg there is very little stretch and plants tend to finish a week faster.

With light timing above 12/12 you will bring out the Indica genetics in hybrids, under 12/12 brings out the Sativa side, I prefer the Sat genetics as I am always looking for early amber

Gotcha. I have a buddy I that I gave some cuttings and he harvest his at 42 days for the more sativa effect, but to much paranoia effect for me. I chop around 70 days and have run it as long as 100 days and she still produces no amber.

My Blue Dream showed amber comin out the gate, I circled em, click the pic to make it bigger so you can see em :bigjoint:

You are going by the clear cloudy thing, chop early for a Sat high, that my friend is not a true sat high. I go for bringin out the best a Sat has to offer. Early True amber is the shit and most are totally unaware

Some of you should be glad your in places where it is available in an open setting.
You mean Colorado, I have never been to a store or dispensary, have never had a need. The clone only cut was mailed from New York by a grower that got it mailed from Cali, seems lots of clones get mailed these days, who knew

What strain is that ? she looks to have some sativa genetics leaves , so you will have a longer period for harvest , i actually dont agree with some that was already said, but we all have diferent opinions , Your buds will already have a tasty harsh smell i think , your leaves are to dark green and buds too leafy , you gave her too much N during flowering (common mistake for a beginner , dont worry) , but anyway ,if you used salt based nutes yes when you fell she ready do a very good flush , and let her stay for 1 more week with just water (it's not like she will feed on THC or buds get smaller , she will only feed on acumulated nutrients)
If you enjoy for a good smoke , you should let her starv , she is not a pregnat women like the other user said , unless you want to smoke the baby after hes born , i think its a completly diferent thing . but anyway.
Buds saturated with salt based nutes in harvest , will take FOREVER to dry , and fucking long to cure, and will have a harsh smoke no matter what you do .. especially N satured .. thats the worst .
well I will tell you that you are absolutely WRONG. your point about smoking a baby after its born only tries to give credibility to your statement in a disgusting way and has no bearing on the subject. the plant itself is a mother growing a flower to pass on its lineage in the form of seeds when a male pollinates her. the flower or bud is not some freak of nature byproduct with no inherent use. the plant all the while is feeding the bud. Therefore my analogy was spot on and your ignorance was par for the course. Welcome to RIU!

I must admit that I am not a sativa smoker, I tweak the fuck out. But are amber trichs wanted with a finished sativa? All im getting at is doesn't the amber contradict the point of a sativa?
