Maybe I'm just missing it but do we have an official standing on gemination techniques? Can I use my root riot cubes in the cloner until they show a tap root and then into the solo cup they go?

Hey @FrozenChozen the rules say 13/11,12/12, 11/13 as long as it's the same all the way through. Just want to make sure there's no issue if it's 12.5/11.5. I couldn't imagine that being an issue as long as it's the same all the way through, but just wanted to make sure.

Well.. alrite!
Poised for the 7th cup I will be.. How many cup comps a year??
They start a new one like every 4-5 months or less. 1 month germing (not that it takes that long but that we have the opportunity to germ until the last day of feb I believe) and 2-3 months flowering, toss in another month for preparations and signups. If I were you DT I would work on creating a setup that will support your party cup baby from start to finish. All kinds of methods being used and I am still trying to figure out which one I am using.

Whatever you do DO NOT do a 27 week sativa on u in a party cup LOLOLOLOL :D I am waiting to see those results.

One final question on the following rule:
Any Indoor light source allowed- no changing light sources once started (with the exception of a burnt out bulb).

My intention was to use a single 600 Watt the entire grow but start off with a MH bulb, switch to HPS and then back to MH. It seems silly that this would be against the rules but I wanted to ask.

I think this should be a call from @FrozenChozen, what if the only 600w bulb you have is mh or hps? As long as its the same wattage and ballast I don't see why this should be an issue.
