During his talk-radio show on Saturday, former state Sen. Russell Pearce said "You put me in charge of Medicaid, the first thing I'd do is get Norplant, birth-control implants, or tubal ligations…Then we'll test recipients for drugs and alcohol, and if you want to (reproduce) or use drugs or alcohol, then get a job."

Shit on that. I personally believe any woman who is on welfare, who has a baby while on welfare should also be given birth control like the norplant until they are in a better position.
One of my employees has a sister who has had 11 ELEVEN babies. She has never done anything BUT be on welfare. Sits around the house all day drinking, smoking crack, and screwing. Out of those 11 babies, she has custody of 4. Two live with their fathers, and the rest were given up for adoption.
People are quick to say, you cant punish the babies, and I agree. But you CAN punish the women who are nothing but breeding factories and take NO responsibility for their actions.

Oh, by the way, she has foodstamps for sell right now, 50c on the dollar. I can hook you up!

The birth rate in Europe and North America are below replacement levels. At least among the productive members of those societies.

Immigration is the only way these places will even have the same number of people in 50 years. But the people coming in are different. Different values and as a result they are in decline.

We should be offering low income women a free state education and $30k to get sterilized.

Sky, I gotta wonder what's so wrong about what Mr. Pearce said. The WORST problem in the US, IMHO, is poverty breeding poverty. Blacks, whites, etc. They all do it.

My stance is that if anyone (man or woman) wants the government to steal my money and give it to them in the form of welfare, then they had damn well not be contributing to the problem of poverty breeding poverty. But a great many of them are.

I heard a parody a few days ago that went something like this: From now on, all children must undergo a (completely safe and reversible) procedure that will prevent them from procreating. Once they graduate high school, and if they are not addicted to any drugs and have no felony convictions, and if they have at least $30,000 in savings with no debt except a mortgage, then they can have the procedure reversed and have children. Except that for every child they have naturally, they must adopt one as well.

Although I realize this is a facetious parody, I can't help but wonder how much better of a world we'd have under those circumstances.
