Well I've been a long time lurker, but decided to finally start an account this week and share some what I have going on in one of my 4x8 tents since I have one in it's first week of flower. This tent is also an experimental tent, with using predominantly MHC lighting. I just harvested a tent two weeks ago where I used 2 600w HPS and 1 600w MHC, and got the best quality results I have ever gotten. Now it's time to learn some more and change it up the other way.

Space:
Agromax 4x8x79" Tent

Lighting:
3-600w Digital Greenhouse Ballast
3-Cool Tube Reflectors
2-Sun Master CDX Bulbs
1-Hortilux Super HPS Bulb

Ventilation:
1-Growbright 8" HV Fan(Exhaust)
1-Growbright 6" HV Fan(Fresh Air Intake)
1-Growbright 8" Carbon Filter
1-Growbright 6" HEPA Filter
2-Box Fans- Below the canopy
2-Oscillating Fans-Above the Canopy
Also have central AC from my basement Duct into my tents using wye connectors and boost fans.

Nutrients

Medium: 50% PRO-MIX BX and 50% Perlite

WARNING
I work at a very well known online and retail hydro store, so this is not going to be economical for everyone(Im getting everything at a 30% discount, and also am still working through samples from the vendor day at the last max yield show).

I want to clarify that even the samples I'm using are from products in my normal line up, just lucky enough to get them for free sometimes.

I alter between nutrient waterings and TEA. That being said this is my line up....

Strain:
Reserva Privada Sour OG

This will be my 3rd grow with this strain. I was lucky enough to get it from a friend who uses a very similar feeding program, so I feel like I know exactly what it needs now in my system after only 2 crops. She is not a big yielder( 1/2g /W), but is some of the prettiest flower, with sour undertones and a highest THC test of 17.76%.

Veg Time was 4 weeks and I expect to chop right around the 55 day mark(different spectrum may change this though)

Going to Florida for a few days. Bought my partner out around Christmas time, so this is the first time the garden has ever been alone :(

Been up for hours watering, foliaring, and changing cloning reservoirs. Wish me luck!!! I'm so nervous...

I'm sure you'll be fine, looks like you got some super healthy girls there. You'll miss them more then they will miss you I bet :)

Got back from my Florida trip the other day and have been busy as shit ever since, will post day 15 pics in a few hours.

Day 16 pics.

I also want to talk about a few things I'm noticing with this lighting set up compared to what I saw with my last experiment grow (2-600wHPS and 1 MHC) and my other straight HPS tents. With this set up I'm noticing that that the plants under the 1 HPS light are stretching more, however I'm not sure if this isn't just because of the fact that these plants are also in the middle and getting more light because of the cross beams. I am certain though that flower development is looking a little slower, not by much but slower. Again if anyone has any comments or questions feel free to ask/comment.

Excellent looking grow and grow journal.
Which lighting do you find gives you the best yield?

I use a 400 watt HPS and 2 95 watt T5 panels together and I get pretty good results.
I use an extended veg period to create a bush.
I am constantly pulling the branches down and out to allow for more upward shoots.
I get between 40-50 top buds , If I have my plants vegged 3 months I can get 6-8 ounces dry from one plant in a 3x3x6 tent.

I would love to step up my game and run in a larger tent with more lighting.

Straight HPS yielded more than my last experiment with 2 HPS and 1 MHC lighting, by a few ounces. However the flowers looked visibly better and were more fragrent under the 2 HPS and 1 MHC. Potency was about the same with with the mixed lighting testing a few tenths higher in THC%, but that could be fore a vast number of reasons.

Day 17 lights off pics. Sprayed my Bud Factor X last night, and man do the girls react well from it. Almost as much as they do from the TEA feedings. Started using Kushie Kush, Overdrive, and Bud Factor X all at the same time so my next experiment run may be doing a side by side with and without it. Anyway here is the bud porn.
