...I knew there was a downside...or everyone would grow this way...lol...just a few thoughts I had...I haven't actually did any research on it...the input I get here should be entertaining though...lol

I don't think the yeild would suffer to much...I think as long as the 10 hrs are full spectrum, good quality lights.Im thinking yield would suffer. Because, backing out and looking at the whole idea, you are giving your plant less light. As we know, more light = more yield. Thoughts?
Honestly the biggest issue i see with this is getting a timer that runs in 20 hour cycles, other than that def worth a try, have also heard of 12/6 where they only get 6 hours of dark a day, then full light to bloom under, cutting length in the night. Have never tried either, like a said finding a timer to do this is gonna be the hard part.
