Htg supply reporting to the feds?

I Was recently in a local hydro store were i overheard some customers talking about HTG and how there being sued because they were turning people in who were buying 1000w setups. The lawsuit is over a customer that was turned in and raided and he was just growing veggies.. Trying to find more info on this.

I dont know why they would be assisting the feds unless they got into trouble.. I mean its none of their business what you do with the equipment you buy.

Its kinda fucked up they put the pressure on hydro shops i mean there are people that use hydro for legal purposes. Aside from that i've done business with a few places and the more recent ones i deal with write up a bill, cash only, no name nothing.. if you do use a credit card they run it through a sister company unrelated to the hydro business.

Eh if the government wants to know what the fuck you're up to they will. Pointing fingers is just speculation. If you really don't want the government to know what you're doing, then you'd have to live off the grid...which is just down right stupid. Most likely the guy that was growing was either stupid about it or just growing an ridiculous amount of plants.

Seriously for the most part we have a benevolent government. Yes some rules suck balls, no doubt about that. However if you don't want to follow the rules well you risk being punished, thats just part of life. At least we don't get excited for drugs like in Thailand. Also, if you really don't like the laws in America you always have the right to leave the country...Try doing that in China...

I don't buy it. It makes zero sense for HTG to be offering up that kind of info without any kind of court order. They are in business to make money. They go pissing off 80% or more of their customer base they won't be doing much of that.

Right, which is exactly why they would do it. DEA has been known to pay informants a pretty hefty sum, in addition to pouring on nit-picky tax evasion stuff to get them in a stranglehold.

More than likely, this particular rumor is bullshit. The records are open, but there is no need to get that specific in many cases. The authorities can and do use vague language in reports as to continue using their sources. HTG does not have to be named in the public record.

That said, best believe some of these guys work with the DEA, even in today's climate. The feds would be completely and utterly retarded to not try to work with them. Once they get the records, it's fish in a barrel.

So you heard a damaging rumor about a very large online hydro store...at a public little business hydro shop...hm. Sounds like intentional slander to keep business. If the feds want to catch you badly enough there is no stopping that. The sheer man power, technology, and money they have insures they could catch you picking boogers in front of your tv while they watched you through your webcam that isn't powered on and they listened through your powered down cell phone.
