Clones: Mainlining vs Scrog vs Monstercropping?

Hello all, I know techniques can be combined but they all add veg time and I am doing a perpetual grow. I have read articles the mainlining will obviously add veg time and be a little trickier to work with clones on but the advantage is canopy management via the mainline itself therefore...

    Topping help

Hello all! I was recently told in another thread on here to top my clone/plant to help her bush out a little more. Would anyone be willing to use the picture I’ve posted of my plant and show me where you would top by drawing a line and reposting?

Saving Clone after fungus gnat larvae damage

Hello! I planted this clone around 2 weeks ago in soil that it turns out was infested with fungus gnat larvae. They did a good amount of root damage, and now I am going to try to revive this clone. I was thinking of soaking the Rockwool in some water mixed with clonex and then maybe also in a...

Lemon Sherbert in the Cure Zone

Lemon Sherbert clone. Little over 3oz from a 3 week veg. Had to flip to flower early due to a lack of space in the flower tent. Definitely running this strain again. I can tell she’s not a heavy yielder, hopefully she makes up for potency over weight.

    When to flip to flower?

I got these clones around June 12th and have been growing them in my 3x3 tent with a Mars Hydro TS1000 and keeping my temps from 65-75F and keeping RH around 50-65%. Water pH is usually 6.0-6.4 and around 74F. The growing medium is 1 part peat moss, 1 part vermiculite, and 1 part worm castings...

    Cloning

I’ve read a lot of information about cloning. It’s recommended to remove the stem when the plant is still in a vegetative state. Assuming you are cloning to continue the female line. This is confusing because when a plant is in the vegetative state I usually can’t tell if it’s male or female yet.

    Nursery vs Flowering

Hello, 1. I am wondering what will be more profitable between doing a nursery (Mother plants producing clones to nurse than sell) vs flowering than selling the weight. 2. I am trying to run comparisons but as far as determining clones per mother plants I see all sorts of different answers...

How many seeds should I plant

I know this sounds like a noob question but hear me out. I just got a pack of these brothers Grimm c99 seeds and I’m super exited. It came in a pack of 12 seeds. I am a newer grower and really feel like these genetics are going to be good so I don’t wanna mess something up and loose the genetics...

Last try to save this poor White Widow.

Was once a vibrant 16inch tall plant. Fried her too long/close to a heating fan (though my Durban Poisons did fine; I thought WW liked the heat??). She wilted over, never recovering her upper leaves so trimmed her trimmed her down at the stalk. What you see in the pics is me cutting the last bit...

    Mutated Plants ?! Woahhh!

Never had this happen before . Pictured are 4 clones all from the same mother. They have rooted and are displaying new growth as of 2 days ago. Does anyone know why the clone in the bottom left corner has 3 fan leaves ? I know this trait appears sometimes , but the mother did not have this...

first time cloning - is this ok?

Hey all, so this is my first time trying to clone. I having taken a cutting from the mother plant which is an outside growing plant. I cut the stem pretty close to the node on an angle to increase surface area. I have left a few leaves on the top. Just wanting to know whether i need to take more...

    Tiny mold spots on clones

This is my first time cloning in an enclosed humidity dome. I've made many many clones previously, but always by DIY aero cloner based on designs I saw on StinkBud's thread or in soil in Solo cups. I figured the humidity might cause a mold problem, but everything seemed to be doing okay. I...

    Clones and Growing Mediums

Hey guys so I plan on buying a clone from someone local to me, and I was wondering about transplanting. So he told me he uses Pro mix, and I don't know if I need to buy pro mix to plant with or if I can transfer into a medium of my choice. He hasn't given anything nutrient wise besides root...

    The Impossible Clone Challenge

Hey all, We have all seen the solo cup challenge. How about a clone challenge? More specifically, an impossible clone. By this I mean, let’s all prove how resilient this plant really is. Post your pics of clones that shouldn’t be alive but somehow are and have turned into a full blown vegging...

My plant is wilting and I don’t know what’s wrong

I’m a beginner grower and I’ve done my research about how to grow a plant of my own. Recently, my plant started showing signs of slight wilting, but now it looks like almost all my leaves are wilting. I’ve been reading articles after articles on what might be wrong with my plant. I’ve kept the...

    Update on the “Hanukkah” cut

Looks like she took really nicely! I took this cut a few weeks into flower so I wasn’t sure how she would do but looks like she is going to take off just fine. Excited to see this thing full size lol. My other two cuts I did this way just finished rooting in the tray.

    Difficulty Topping Asymmetrical Clone?

Hello, Everyone I’m currently looking to top these 3 lovely ladies. I do understand it’s advisable to cut above the 4th node. But when I look I see a single branch as a node but then it’s asymmetrical equivalent slightly above it. Does that count as 1 or are they separate? Since it’s a clone...

    Clone experiment

I call this the “Hanukkah” cut. What do you guys think? Took a little bit long to root but once it did it’s been doing amazing, and she is branching out exactly the way I imagined she would in that “menorah” shape. Grape OG cut. Not really sure if it will provide any benifits but maybe I’ll run...
