airlift

So I built my airlift brewer in a 30 gallon trash can with an eco 5 air pump( microbe man said it's good for 50 gallons), however it's not coming out in a constant steam, the video I posted below isn't mine but it's ubasicly the same thing, mine might shoot out a bit faster but I was wondering...
